Will Smith is the titular main protagonist of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He was portrayed by the actor of the same name, who voiced Lance Sterling from Spies in Disguise.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He deeply cares for his relatives, including his cousin Carlton despite how much he teases him for his short height.
- He takes Carlton to the hospital after he overdosed from drugs during the school dance.
- He saves Carlton's life by taking a bullet from a bank robber. After this, when Carlton bought a gun, Will tells him that using guns doesn't solve problems and instead escalate them.
- He helps Ashley with pursuing a singing career by becoming her manager.
- He defeats a violent thug in college by using his self-defense skills and not out of anger.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Will can sometimes be immature and a bit incompetent, as he makes reckless decisions that hurt those he cares about and he doesn't always take responsibility/accountability for them.
- He can be a hedonistic womanizer, as the episode "The Best Laid Plans"; had him creating a fake wedding ceremony to have sex with his girlfriend Monique by tricking her into marrying him so he could have intercourse with her and nothing else. While Will eventually regrets this moment, the act itself was too despicable for Monique to forgive him, resulting in her punching Will in the face and stealing his Uncle Phil's Mercedes as punishment.
- He tends to be extremely mischievous, constantly pulling pranks on Carlton and relentlessly teasing him about his size.
- He has several moments of being arrogant, rebellious, egotistical and a jerk sometimes.
