Listen, people like me and you, we’re different. We’re original thinkers, intrepid outliers in this vast cesspool of adolescence. We don’t need these inane rites of passage to validate who we are.
~ Wednesday to Eugene, who she would become his first friend.

Wednesday Friday Addams, or also known as Wednesday, is the titular protagonist of the Netflix series Wednesday.

She is an anti-social outcast who her parents sent to an outcast school called Nevermore. A series of murders occurred from the Hyde monster after she arrived, and begins investigating to see who it is. She somewhat reluctantly became best friends with Enid Sinclair.

She is currently portrayed by Jenna Ortega.

Her Good Ranking[]

What Makes Her Admirable?[]

  • When she figured out the Hyde monster was a human, she decides to investigate and find out who it is.
  • She goes to warn Rowan when she has a vision of him being in danger.
  • Despite often being told she wasn’t allowed to help investigate the killings, she still did it solo to try and save people from dying.
  • When she realised how evil Joseph Crackstone was, she burned down his undeserved statue at a ceremony.
  • She is shown to care for Eugene Ottinger many times, by befriending him while he is friendless, saving him from getting bullied and attacked by the Hyde monster, and even visiting him a few times at the hospital.
  • She saved Thing's life when he was stabbed.
  • She discovered who Garret Gates was and that he died not from the stab wound, but from nightshade poisoning.
  • She used her psychic abilities to envision the story of one's person, which is one of those cases showing her that Tyler Galpin was the Hyde monster.
  • She, along with and Larissa (shapeshifted as Tyler), confronted Marilyn Thornhill, realizing she was Tyler’s master and was eventually Laurel Gates.
  • When Joseph Crackstone yielded the arrow towards Xavier Thorpe, she intervened and took it herself to stop it from hitting him.
  • She killed Joseph Crackstone and possibly killed Laurel Gates.

What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]

  • She is an anti-social person who usually lacks interest in others and can be considerably rude, particularly to anyone and her friend Enid Sinclair.
  • She is a lethal character as she released piranhas into a swimming pool and a bully ended up losing a testicle.
  • She tortured Tyler to force him to turn into a hyde, and while she was right about Tyler, she still commited needless torture to prove herself right. Even someone as self-centered as Bianca was horrified by this and decided to not get involved in it.
