Hello, I'm back for another proposal and I've decided to do one on Robin Hood from the 1991 movie.

What's The Work?

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is a 1991 adventure film based on Robin Hood and stars Kevin Costner.

Who Is He?

Robin of Locksley is the main character of the movie as he tries to avenge his father's death and save England from the Sheriff who murdered his father.

What did he do?

Robin was born and raised in England and went through a tragic childhood of losing his mom. His father later had a relationship with a commoner and had a son named Will Scarlet, who became the illegitimate brother to Robin. He also wanted to fight in the First Crusade, but hid father forbade it and they got in an argument over it. They later regretted for how they treated each other.

Robin was saved by his companion, Azeem and they escape the prison. He later saves Wulf from Guy from Gisbourne and his army and Wulf accompanies them. Robin then meets Maid Marion and fights her in a duel and delivers the ring to her and he escapes from the Sheriff of Nottingham into Sherwood Forest. He runs into Little John and defeats him in a duel and he builds an army and fortress against the Sheriff.

He and the others train and he helps Azeem deliver Fanny's baby and he soon falls in love with Marian. When the Sheriff's army attack Robin's resistance, the merry men get taken hostage and Robin tries to come up with a plan to save them. Robin then asks Will why he hates him and Will says that he was overshadowed by him, regarding their father's love, Robin then says he will stand by his side no matter what.

Robin and the others save Wulf and the others from Nottingham and he faces Nottingham in a duel and he kills him by stabbing him with a dagger, saving England from him. He later marries Marian and earns King Richard's approval.

Admirable Standard

Robin passes the standards due to protecting and caring for his army and doing whatever it takes to save England from the Sheriff's rule of tyranny and who murdered innocent people and saving Maid Marian from the Sheriff who tried to marry her by force and tried to rape her and killing him in a duel, saving England from him and avenging his father.

What makes him inconsistent?

He has been extremely lethal in the film as he killed many of the Sheriff's enemies by firing arrows at them, while it was in self-defense since they were dangerous, he still enjoyed killing them.

He can be mischievous as he tormented Maid Marian when he was younger by burning her hair, according to her. While he does change his ways as an adult and becomes her lover, he never apologized for it, making it too corrupting. He also smacked her behind before he left her.

Final Verdict?

Yes.
