Hello. Today will be my next offer for the status of an IA, and it is dedicated to Dottie Underwood. Another non-heroic candidate, but nevertheless, she has a chance to get here. Moreover, unlike the recently approved God, she is far from the status of Pure Evil.
What is the Work?[]
Agent Carter is a series of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which tells the story of Agent Peggy Carter, who was also the lover of Captain America.
Who is she?[]
Dottie Underwood is the antagonist of the TV series Marvel Agent Carter. She is a Soviet spy, an agent of Leviathan, a sworn enemy of Peggy Carter.
Her Good Ranking[]
What Makes Her Admirable?[]
In General[]
- Her cruel and sadistic nature is not her fault at all, because she was trained as a cruel killer from childhood, and even forced to kill her friends. But despite this, she still has not lost some human traits, like nobility.
- Over time, she began to sincerely respect Peggy Carter, and began to treat her not as an enemy, but as an equal rival, and selflessly.
- She is always sincerely devoted to those she works for, and will never betray them, even if it would be beneficial for her.
Background / Season 1[]
- She was a very friendly orphan until she was elected to the Red Room, and there they brainwashed her, thereby turning her into a cold-blooded killer.
- She still showed some friendliness, and even shared bread with her roommates, showing that she had humanity in her.
- She killed Otto Mink when he came to kill Carter. Although she did it unintentionally, because she only wanted to take the gun away from him.
- She killed Seth Honicky for harassing her. Although the murder itself was brutal, it was actually justified.
Season 2[]
- When she was arrested, she did not allow anyone to interrogate her, except Peggy.
- When Peggy came to her prison for a deal, Dottie saw that she was badly injured, and therefore refused to fight her.
- She immediately and gladly agreed to help Carter against Whitney Frost and the Council of Nine, although she knew that Peggy would never thank her for this and would only return her to prison. This shows that her help to Carter was selfless.
- It was she who eventually obtained a sample of zero matter from Whitney Frost's blood, after which it fell into Carter's hands, and this led to the healing of Jason Wilkes and saving the world from Whitney Frost, who wanted to spread zero matter around the world so that she would destroy all life on Earth.
- While being held captive by Whitney Frost, she refused to give Carter away to the last, and did so only after Frost applied zero matter to her, which caused Dottie incredible pain that no living being could withstand.
- When Peggy came to rescue her, Dottie warned her in time that the trap was set not for her, but for Wilkes.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She's basically a villain, and she's done a lot of villainous things throughout history, including helping Fennhoff destroy New York.
- She is a very cruel and cold-blooded killer, and she has a very large number of murders to her credit, and also innocent people.
- She is arrogant because she boasted to Masters that no one could crack her, and mocked him about it.
- She initially sought to kill Peggy, and often jokingly teased her during a fight with her.
Admirable Standard[]
It's a little difficult here, but I'll try to explain why, in my opinion, Dottie stands out. First of all, she has very few resources, and being a villainess, she spent them in season 1 precisely for villainous deeds. However, in season 2, she shows herself on the noble side, and gladly agreed to help Peggy, much to the latter's surprise. In addition, she was the only ally of Peggy who had the opportunity to get Whitney Frost's blood, and did not let her down, and this eventually led to the salvation of the whole world from zero matter, which would destroy all life. If it hadn't been for her, Carter wouldn't have been able to get that blood in time, and she wouldn't have been able to save the whole world. If we compare her with the Black Widow, then I can say that Dottie, unlike her, has a very limited moral will, but despite this, she helped save the whole world. And for example, the same Jessica Jones and Jake Lockley, who have already been approved here, with greater resources, have done the same amazing things. In general, the situation is the same as with the approved Shego and Glomgold.
Verdict[]
I think, given her very low resources (even lower than Peggy Carter's), and her key role in saving the world, I'll say yes.
