Inconsistently Admirable Wiki

Good morning!
~ His iconic catchphrase.

Uncle Grandpa is the titular main protagonist of the series with the same name.

He's the uncle of everyone in the world as he travels the world to help his "nephews" and "nieces" with their problems. In this free time, he joined his friends in misadventures.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

In General[]

  • He's an uncle to everyone in the world due to his will of helping others.
  • He goes around the world to help kids with their problems.
  • He genuinely cares for his friends and will always help them when they in need.
  • While he willingly to help kids and obey them, he's showed to not always like this if this meant misbehavior.
  • In Steven Universe, he helped Steven to unleash his shield. While not canon, it's further demonstrates his eagerness to help others whenever possible.
    • While doing the checklist, we see a lot of CN characters' names on the list, indicated that he helped them before Steven.

Season 1[]

  • He helped a fat kid to accept who he is.
  • He tried to find Tiger when she left the RV.
  • He taught a egotistical kid a lesson when he don't want to go home because he was a king in an alternate dimension he sent him into.
  • He defeated the Mustache monster to "save the world".
  • He trained a girl to get her a driving license while returning the driver tester's baby to him. He also gave her a American Truck for her success.
  • He helped a boy to get an A+++++++++++ in class.
  • He helped a girl to overcome the fear of darkness.
  • He helped Charlie Burgers getting his ball back.
  • He tried to help a boy to be perfect kid.
  • He helped a Japanese kid to record a film.
  • He taught a teen a lesson for leaving the house while being grounded.
  • He petrified a troll so no one will get insulted by him again.
  • He helped his brother save Christmas.
    • He also redeemed a girl, whom captured various holidays' spirits, and made her release them.
  • He felt remorse for overworking Tiny Miracle.
  • He helped a new kid blend in with his classmates in his new school.
  • He saved his friends from the Wastelands.
  • He cured Belly Bag's sickness

Season 2[]

  • He helped a girl to be famous and after she got attacked by ducks, he convinced her to be normal to keep the ducks away.
  • He unintentionally arrested a criminal when he was mimicking as Mr. Tree.
  • He age-regressed the kid back to normal when he got turned into a old man.
  • He tried to save "Mr. Gus" after Pizza Steve gave "him" away to buy a toy car.
  • He taught a girl unconventional survival skills which later saved her whole group.
  • He gave Bottom Bag a new owner.

What Make Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He's an anti-hero due to his varying levels of incompetence and ambiguous moral agency, which also caused him to commit several crimes:
    • He has engaged in reckless driving twice: once allowing a peanut butter jar to operate a vehicle, resulting in the destruction of a boy's bicycle; and another time, impulsively driving his bed after waking up on the wrong side of it.
    • When attempting to hit a pinata, he inadvertently caused widespread destruction in the city and inadvertently created a surge in criminal activity.
    • He nearly caused the death of a boy by rapidly aging him, only prevented by Gus's intervention.
    • Although he opposes Mr. Gus's actions at the mall, he willingly repeats them later on (albeit with Pizza Steve's influence).
  • While he does care for Mr. Gus, there are times where he mistreats him, both unintentionally and intentionally.
  • While he has good intentions, he sometimes puts children in danger or makes their problems worse, such as when he teleported the Fat Kid into a world filled with wolves and unintentionally turned Auntie Grandma into a villain.
  • He can be pretty wrathful, notably in the episodes Bad Morning, where he became cranky after waking up on the wrong side of his bed, and Anger Management, where he was shown to have severe anger management issues. This also makes his moral agency questionable, since which side of the bed he wakes up one can alter his personality.
