Turanga Leela (born on July 29, 2975), better known as Leela, is the captain of the Planet Express ship and the overall deuteragonist of Futurama. She is a smart, strong, egotistical, and overall level-headed woman. She is also the conscience of the group, and is often prone to nagging them and expressing her outrage at their various immoral actions.
She was voiced by Katey Sagal.

What Makes Her Admirable?[]
- She constantly tries to stop Bender from committing his violent crimes.
- She also often reprimand Bender for his actions, and often calls Bender out for his jerkish behaviour.
- After finding out that Popplers were an intelligent and sentient form of life she tried to stop people from eating them.
- Helped Hermes get his job back.
- Saves Fry multiple times.
- Saved NNY from supervillains as Clobberella.
- Helped Pickles redeem himself and rid him of his nihilistic ways.
- Saved Diamonds and Forever from criminals and thieves that raided the store.
- Saved URL and Scmitty from being mobbed at the Kidnapster.
- With the help of Homer Simpson and his family, they rid the world of Bart's murderous creations.
- Saved CHAPEK 9 from Lrr and his race of Genocidal Aliens.
- Helped the Professor restore the timeline that was sabotaged by David Farnsworth.
- Saved her parents and the underworld of sewers from the floods.
- Lost her job as Captain of the Nimbus because of her refusal to kill unarmed civillians.
- Committed numerous other smaller heroic acts.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- There's a lot of times where she supports the criminal activity the Professor of all people commits.
- She can be genuinely egotistical at times, but there's also a lot of times where she's selfless, so this is a minor prevention.
- She has too many jerk moments to be PG or NPG.
- She murdered multiple aliens without remorse in a season 4 episode, making her lethal.
- She doesn't stop Nibbler from eating sentient animals. Even if she does love him, this is still pretty bad.
