~ Tommy Jarvis' resolve to stop Jason |
Thomas "Tommy" Jarvis is one of the main protagonists of the Friday the 13th horror film franchise, serving as the deuteragonist of the fourth film, and the main protagonist of the next two.
He is a smart and crafty but traumatized teenager who fought Jason in his youth and is his most personal enemy, being the first ever person to kill him.
He was portrayed mainly by Thom Matthews as an adult, John Shepherd as a teen, Corey Feldman as a child, and voiced by Chris Niosi.

- When he and Megan get to crystal lake, they calm the kids and get them to safety.
- He puts Jason to rest once more by swimming into the lake and dragging him to the bottom of the lake again, ending his killing spree.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is extremely wrathful and violent as he gets into multiple fights at the Packanack lodge in Part V, almost kills Junior and needlessly continues slashing Jason's corpse even after he's dead.
- He accidentally resurrects Jason by carelessly stabbing him with a metal rod out of anger and leaving it stuck in his body, making him indirectly responsible for all the deaths that happened in Part 6 which even Tommy himself acknowledges.
- He is a bit too mischievous in Part 6 when he locks up Deputy Rick in a jail cell to escape while mocking his catchphrase and putting the keys just out of his reach to taunt him.
Trivia[]
- He is ultimately the foil to own archenemy, Jason Voorhees, who is Inconsistently Heinous
