Theon Greyjoy is a major character in HBO drama series Game of Thrones adapted from the A Song of Ice and Fire novels. After his father Balon Greyjoy rose in rebellion against Robert Baratheon Theon was sent to live with Eddard Stark in Winterfell and be raised alongside the other stark children and Ned's bastard Jon Snow as a hostage. Theon grew to be an arrogant pompous jerk. When he was sent to obtain Greyjoy support in The Starks's conflict with the lannisters he betrayed them and took Winterfell which led to his capture and torture at the hands of Ramsay Snow. After this Theon attempted to become a better person and atone for his crimes.
He was portayed by Alfie Allen.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- Kept Catelyn's suspicions that the Lannisters tried to kill Bran secret and attempted to conceal her whereabouts when Tyrion Lannister visited Winterfell.
- Saved Robb and Bran Stark from wildlings.
- Helped Robb win several of his early battles against the Lannisters.
- Moves to defend Robb when it appears Greatjon Umber is going to attack him.
- Killed Myranda to protect Sansa.
- Held off Bolton soldiers despite it possibly meaning further torture at Ramsay's hands.
- Saved Podrick Payne from a Bolton soldier.
- Gave up his claim to the salt throne to support his sister Yara's.
- Helped Yara convince Daenerys Targaryen to form an alliance with them instead of their uncle Euron.
- Fights Harag to gain the support of Yara's men and their aid in saving her.
- Rescued Yara from Euron.
- Went to Winterfell to fight for the Starks against the White Walkers.
- Sacrificed himself to protect Bran from the night king which gave Arya enough time to kill the latter and save the world.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- In season two and three he fallen to be villian as he decraption ser Rodrick Kassel, try to hunt after two Stark princes and killed two defenceless innocent children and its too corrupting for Near Pure Good, even though he felt remorse.
- Sometimes he risked even his allies like Sansa that he betroyed her for defend himself from Ramsay and later abandoned his post when Yara was attacked by Euron.
- He treated with contempt to Osha because she was a wild.
- He also some more lethal or suspicious than necessary, as he killed one men (Harag) only with him hands.
