Sorry...but i fly solo.
~ The Soldier to the Globex Leader in The Final Showdown, his most famous quote.
Hahahah, take some of this!.
~ The Soldier shooting the Globex Soldiers in the original game.

The Player, also known as the Soldier, is the main protagonist of Strike Force Heroes and its 2023 remastered version.

He is a skilled soldier who, together with his team, the heroic Alpha Squad, made up of Toad, Riggs, Shadow and Bull, seek to stop a dangerous toxin that is affecting several soldiers of the organization with the help of a Scientist who works on the cure, however, a secret global organization is constantly trying to eliminate them and also wants to stop the virus, but with evil purposes.

He was voiced by Sean Chiplock, who also voiced most of the male characters in the whole series,

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

In General[]

  • Although it is completely unknown what his motivation was to become an elite soldier before the events of the game, he genuinely cares about the lives of his allies and the rest of the world, and his intention to cure the toxin to save them was noble.
  • Regardless of the danger he is in, he will always seek a solution to get out of that problem and encourages his allies to help.

Strike Force Heroes 1[]

  • He and his team eliminate a group of rebels hiding in an abandoned village and encourage Bull (the team’s tank) to continue fighting despite his minor injury.
  • He and his team manage to defeat a group of Globex agents who destroyed their cargo plane and temporarily saves Jenkins, the plane’s pilot.
  • When he successfully lands on an island after the plane crashes, he kills many infected soldiers. Sadly, Jenkins, who was also infected, then sets out to regroup with the rest of the team.
    • Even though he had no way to save Jenkins due to being completely unaware of the virus in the first place, he tried to calm him down and told him not to shoot.
  • In ‘Siege Under’, as soon as he hears the explosion caused by the GlobeX assault on the research facility where the scientist worked, he decides to go investigate what happened. Once he is at the location thanks to Shadow, he goes down the ducts and finds the room where the scientist was fighting with GlobeX soldiers. He helps the scientist, and both defeat the homicidal agents.
  • After the scientist explains what the virus/toxin was, he proposes to work together with his team to cure all the infected on the island, and from there, they set out to obtain the necessary plants to create the cure.
  • He and his team managed to defeat a group of Globex soldiers who came to ambush them while they were trying to retrieve the plants from the village.
  • They managed to enter Globex’s headquarters, where they discovered the organization and its secrets.
    • In ‘The Return’, this advance is again useful for discovering GlobeX’s plan to launch a missile aimed at killing the infected and destroying the country.
  • In ‘Trophic Thunder’ and in ‘Hide and Seek’, he and his team managed to protect the research facility at all times, allowing the scientist to create the cure.
  • In ‘Plan B,‘ he and his men head to stop Globex, which went to a train station to launch a nuke to destroy the country.
  • Even though the train began to move forward non-stop (as the brakes were destroyed), he remained optimistic and told his men to find a way to stop the train and the nuclear weapon’s launch.
  • At the end of the mission, he listens to the scientist, who tells him that he can go up to the bomb to replace the warhead with the cure and thus save the infected.
  • In ‘Boarding Action‘, he protects Shadow while taking him near the bomb to jump.
    • In ‘One Final Effort,’ he is in charge of fighting many Globex agents while working on the wiring of the bomb with the help of Shadow.
  • In ‘The Final Showdown‘, he fought tirelessly against the Globex Leader, the commander of this terrible organization, who now wanted to destroy the virus instead of curing it. The player managed to defeat him and cure all the infected.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He was very arrogant and cocky when he fought against the Global Soldiers alone, and despite having the advantage in every battle due to being skilled and clever, he should never have behaved that way because of how ruthless and dangerous those agents were, who had massacred all the scientists in the attack on the research facility.

Trivia[]

  • He is the only Strike Force Heroes character to have an article on this site so far.
