~ Tael describing the Four Giants. |
The Four Giants are the overarching protagonists of The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
They are the guardian deities of Termina who seek to protect it at any cost.
Their Good Ranking[]
What Makes Them Admirable?[]
- They watched over the land of Termina and protected its inhabitants from threats for many years. When the Skull Kid began tormenting their people, they threatened to send him to the heavens or they would destroy him.
- After being freed from their respective prisons and summoned with the Oath to Order by Link, they successfully stopped the moon from falling onto the Clock Tower by holding it, allowing the young hero to fight and permanently kill Majora.
- They were more than willing to forgive the Skull Kid, leaving as they made peace with him in the end of the game.
- While there are multiple truly admirable characters in the series such as Fi, King Rauru and the various incarnations of Link and Zelda, they still stand out for playing a crucial part in saving the world with their short screen time.
What Makes Them Inconsistent?[]
- Despite possibly lacking Moral Agency issues, they don't have enough characterization to be NPG as they only have a few lines of dialogue when they appear, with them amounting to them giving Link the Oath to Order, advising him to call them, and later, to help and forgive the Skull Kid.
