Ted is the titular main protagonist of the film franchise of the same name. He is John's brother-like best friend. When he used to be a child, he was formerly named Teddy.
He was voiced and motion-captured by Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy who voices Peter Griffin, Brian Griffin, Glenn Quagmire and Stewie Griffin, and voiced by Zane Cowans as a kid. In the Latin American Spanish Dub he was voiced by Mexican actor Joaquín Cosío, who also dubbed as Klaus in the 2019 animated film of the same name.

Background/In General[]
- When John Bennett didn't have a single friend. He became his first friend after he wished him to come to life on Christmas.
- Took care of his friend John Bennett as they grew up, and even as an adult he's always there as a voice of reason in his life.
Ted (TV Series)[]
- Defended John when he was getting bullied by Clive in school.
- Convinced John’s father Matty into letting Blaire stay with them by giving him Rocky’s mouth piece that was given to him by Sylvester Stallon.
- Pretended to be Clive’s dad (alongside John) and helped him get his grades up.
- Tried to convince Blaire into leaving her teacher’s house when he thought he was trying to having sex with her.
- Helped John with his first date and lied about him being sexually experienced so that Bethany would be impressed.
Ted[]
- Was willing to get a job at a grocery store so John Bennett doesn't lose Lori after one of the hookers defecated in their apartment.
- Moved into his own apartment room so John, and Lori can live their life together.
- Despite telling John Bennett to come to the party to meet Flash Gordon, which caused Lori to dump him. He explicitly said he didn't drag him there, and told him to come only because he's supposedly his best friend.
- Explained to Lori what really happened when John Bennett ditched her to come to his party taking the full blame for John's actions.
- Tried to call John Bennett after Donny, and Robert kidnapped him.
- Attempted to get away from, and defeat Donny, and his son Robert with the help of John Bennett, and Lori, but sadly got ripped in half.
- Congratulated John Bennett on finally marrying Lori at their wedding.
Ted 2[]
- Cheered John up when he was upset about his, and Lori's divorce with her not being the right girl for him at his wedding.
- After his, and Tammi-Lynn's big fight. He wanted to have a baby so that it could change them not fighting with each other, which made her happy.
- Was willing to fight the charges of not being a person by getting a lawyer.
- Encouraged John Bennett, and Samantha Jackson to be in a relationship together by seeing how they both had a lot in common with each other, much more than compared to Lori Collins.
- When Donny revealed himself at Comic Con. He tried to best to outsmart him, and called John Bennett that he was after him.
- Decided to accept how the world sees him as property, despite being just as much of a person as everyone else, and apologized to John Bennett, and Samantha Jackson for acting like a jerk to them because he was upset he lost.
- After John pushed him out of the way, and hit a giant TV, then it laid top of him. He got Donny arrested for good by playing his favorite song.
- Stayed by John Bennett's side when the giant TV fell on him, and grieved over the fact that he thought he died, but it was a prank getting back at him.
- Said to Tammi-Lynn again if she'll marry him after he became a person by the state, and adopted a baby boy to raise living their happy ending.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Being a Seth McFarlane character similarly to the characters from Family Guy and American Dad! he's way too jerkish, and lethal, such as willingly beating up John Bennett after saying he should've never wished for him to come to life on Christmas, scaring a kid from disguising himself as an animatronic, and throwing apples at joggers just because they were jogging outside.
- When Sam Jones aka Flash Gordon said he couldn't help him when the state didn't see him as a person. He threw a rock at his car, which later on John Bennett got accused of doing, even though it wasn't him who damaged his car.
- Is mischievous by breaking into Tom Brady's house get a sperm sample from his penis so he can have a baby, and cutting his outside air conditioner box off.
- He's shown to be quite perverted to a point where he had sexual intercourse with Tammi-Lynn during his shift at work in the backroom of the store.
- He's a constant drug and alcohol user to the point he gets others involved in such activities such as John and Lynn.
- Has a huge history of breaking various laws with little care or remorse for his past or current actions.
