Taurus is a minor character in the animated series Gargoyles but the episodic main protagonist of the episode "The New Olympians" in season 2. He's a minotaur and was the head of Security on Olympus following his father's footsteps, after he was killed by Proteus.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- As head of Security, he protects the Olympians from outside and inside threats.
- He shown to be lawful and fair.
- He stops the Olympians from attacking Elisa because she was human, even though he then arrests her for "Causing it".
- After he chases Elisa while she leds him to Proteus, he stops Proteus from blowing up Olympus and locks him back up in his cell, preventing him from escaping and causing more chaos in the outside world as well.
- He thanks Elisa for helping him defeat Proteus and realizes that not ALL humans are bad.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He, along with the other Olympians, has a hatred and distrust for humans. While he does change his mind about Elisa, and realizes that SOME of them are bad, there's no indication that he doesn't still have contempt for the majority of them, or humans in general.
- He has very little screentime and characterization, as he only canonically appeared in 1 episode.
