Summer (aka Agent 4) is a pivotal character in the Inkopolis Chaos Trilogy. She is a flashback false antagonist of Inkopolis Chaos, an unseen overarching protagonist of Inkopolis Chaos 2, and one of the three tritagonists of Inkopolis Chaos 3. She is Agent 4 of the squidbeak splatoon, but she is also an energetic and witty inkling who likes to tease both her allies and opponents.

What Makes Her Admirable?[]
- She saved the Great Zapfish and Callie from DJ Octavio.
- She did apologise to both Katelin and Natalie for threatening them just for being octolings, and hasn’t ever threatened an octoling since she understood they were brainwashed, showing she’s willing to learn from her mistakes.
- She stood up for Katelin in the short story “Agent’s Morning” when the latter was receiving racist comments.
- When Scarlet Spiker was murdering innocent people, she tried to take her down so she wouldn’t hurt anyone else.
- When Sylvia was traumatised, she constantly tried cheering her up with comedy.
- She helped rescue Cap’n Cuttlefish, The Squid Sisters and Bethany from their cell.
- She helped Katelin fight against an Octo Samurai, and defeated it for her when she was struggling.
- She fought against Scarlet in the final battle, and seemed ok with being stabbed by her as long as Scarlet was taken out, showing that she is willing to die for the sake of others.
- When Katelin was struggling to sabotage Lt. Obsidian’s bombs, she (alongside Jade and Luke) helped sabotage them, which saved millions of lives in the process.
- Despite her wits and sassy attitude, she still deeply cares for her friends, and will do anything to help them. She is nice to the other agents when she isn’t teasing them (her teasing isn’t malicious) and even states she wants everyone to be happy.
- Despite her parents being terrible people, she ended up nothing like them.
- Her calling out on Blakeson for having an invalid excuse is justified as he was evil before had an excuse.
- While one may argue she fails the admirable standards to Katelin, this is not true for the following reasons.
- Katelin had far more experience and training then her, and also had more opportunities then her, so it would not be a fair comparison.
- Summer saves Katelin’s life twice in the climax. First, she helps her defeat an octo samurai that was about to kill her, and two, she shields Katelin from Scarlet using her own body without ink armour, risking her life to try and stop Scarlet, which was a unique act.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She can be very mischievous, and causes trouble sometimes. An example is that during the final splatfest, she and Sylvia vandalised a shop to support team chaos.
- She acts like a smug jerk a lot, where it’s too much for her to be NPG.
- She constantly makes fun of her enemies, just to anger them.
- Unlike Jade and Katelin, who show no pride in their agent status, she is quite cocky towards Scarlet about being Agent 4. She is also occasionally arrogant about her fighting skills.
