Stewart "Stewie" Gilligan Griffin is one of the deuteragonists of the adult animated comedy television Family Guy.

He is the youngest son of Peter Griffin and Lois Griffin as well as the brother of both Chris Griffin and Meg Griffin, who was gifted with intelligence at a very young age which he uses this to his advantage and always builds very high tech gadgetry which he then formerly uses for always trying to murder his own mother whom the latter isn't aware of in early seasons. However his attempts were later abandoned and then changed on saving reality along with his companion, Brian Griffin with the hopes and mischief of his Time Pad and the world.

He is voiced by the Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, who also voices Brian Griffin and Glenn Quagmire.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

  • He saved the entire universe (alongside Brian) from Bertram after he killed his ancestor Leonardo Da Vinci, and defeated him for good.
  • He cares about his best friend Brian, despite their rivalry at times before, even acknowledging him as family, and after he died. Stewie traveled back in time pushing him out of the way in the street from the car that ran him over, which Vinny gave up his happiness for him to get Brian back.
  • When Chris was having trouble with other teenagers bullying him, he helped build his confidence by teaching him how to stand up for himself.
  • After seeing Meg being poorly treated by everyone, including her own family, he and Brian attempted to give her the better life she deserved.
  • He saved Lois from Diane Simmons by shooting her, although this is minor because he said the only one that's gonna take Lois out is gonna be him.
  • After realizing that Santa Claus couldn't go any longer with delivering Christmas presents every year to the people of the world, he attempted to save Christmas by delivering the presents with Brian, but ended up failing because of going to the wrong house as a home invasion.
  • In the Family Guy movie Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, he stopped himself from when he had a near death experience preventing it from happening to not become like his future self.
  • When Brian gave him herpes from becoming blood brothers without telling him he had it, he called the dog out on it, and then later saying that he couldn't trust his own best friend.
  • He subverted his obsession with trying to kill his own mother, and his goal of world domination in the earlier seasons of the show, and greatly mellowed out in the later seasons, but his villainous acts can still pop up from time to time.
  • After Brian screwed up with altering the past, he went alongside him to go fix his terrible mistake of telling his past self about 9/11, but it backfired due to him shooting one of Brian's time traveling counterparts in the knee.
  • When Brian revealed the reason had a gun in his vault was to commit suicide, Stewie rather than get mad at him, instead comforts him and tells him how much he loves him, even stating “I Love you as one loves another person, whom one simply cannot do without” proving his care and loyalty to Brian
  • He saved Chris from being strangled to death by Charles Yamamoto with a Queens album cover, which caused Charles to have a heart attack and die.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • Being a Family Guy character, he's way too on & off, doing villainous deeds like committing murder on others when they did nothing wrong, especially shooting Bonnie when Lois wouldn't stop calling on the phone with her so they could go to the beach or wanting to kill Santa Claus just for not giving him the time to sit on his lap, as well as trying to take over the world and when Brian wouldn't give him his money on the bet they made. He brutally beat the dog up twice saying, "where's my money", to get him to pay up, which was too harsh, even burning him with a flamethrower to get him to finally decide to pay him, and causing countess amounts of destruction with Penelope. However, these villainous moments mostly occurred in earlier seasons.
  • He's known to be a huge jerk at times, especially towards Meg who's the punching bag of the entire show from everyone that interacts with her. He always refers his father, Peter Griffin as "the fat man", even though he deserves it.
  • Has many crimes under his belt that he committed on the show, such as when he started hanging out with Penelope nuking many different locations with her.
