Peter Jason Quill, often known by his alias of Star-Lord, is the main protagonist of the 2021 sci-fi adventure game Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. He was a human-spartoid hybrid who was abducted by aliens known as the Chitauri when he was twelve years old. After joining the Ravagers and fighting in the Galactic War against Thanos, he now serves as the leader of the titular Guardians of the Galaxy.
He was voiced by Jon McLaren.
His Good Ranking[]
Debated Validations[]
- While he does appear to kill the Universal Church members, Gamora's line "They're just robots, right?" suggests that the guardians may not know the church members are innocent people being controlled by Raker, though this seems unlikely, especially in the late-game.
- Some of his actions are determined by the player such as
- Paying his Nova Corps Fine.
- Hiding a space llama or a crate of illegal tech from the Nova Corps.
- Preventing Drax from throwing Rocket across a cliff or encouraging it.
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
In General[]
- He acts as the voice or reason for the Guardians, often cooling down tense situations for the team.
- He is very sympathetic. He often empathizes over the Guardians' tragedies and helps them get through them. He was even sympathetic towards Nikki despite her working with the Universal Church of Truths.
- He cares about the Guardians. even trying to make sure sure they get paid.
Background[]
- He has a literal "pet the dog moment." He pets his dog Kubrick and expresses sympathy towards the fact that Kubrick's owners (Peter's grandparents) were dead.
- He defended his house when the Chitauri arrived.
- He acted as a raider during the Galactic War.

- After getting fined by the Nova Corps, he went to the Nova Rock to pay it.
- He went to Knowhere to report what he saw.
- There are multiple instances of him freeing people of the Universal Church of Truth's "promises"

- He freed Cosmo from the Church's control (or at least tried to).
- When Drax was corrupted by the church, he went to Adam Warlock to help save him.

- He broke on to the Sacrosanct and defeated Raker.
- When Magus returned, he trapped him back in the Soul Stone.
- It is worth noting that this act caused Peter to temporarily die.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He often breaks the law for his own benefit instead of for good reasons.
- It is mentioned that he stole his Jet Boots off of a corpse.
- He broke into the Quarantine Zone to steal a monster.
- After being arrested by the Nova Corps, he expresses interest in leaving the ship and escaping.
- He planned to sell either Rocket or Groot to Lad Hellbender and then steal him back.
- When he has to double Rocket's pay, he plans to take it out of Groot's cut as he believes he has no understanding of money works, which is rather scummy.
- He is somewhat of a misogynist, as he found it unrealistic that Rocket was tricked by a woman.
- He is frequently lethal towards hostile monsters and Lady Hellbender's minions.
- He often teases Rocket.
- He wanted the Guardians to come up with a plan that "guaranteed his safety as a leader," prioritizing himself over the mission.
Trivia[]
- He, Rocket, Martin Li, and Tinkerer are so far the only Marvel Inconsistently Admirable to originate from a video game.
- A sequel to Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy was planned but did not get far in development. Had it been made, it's possible that his Inconsistently Admirable status would have been affected.
