Sonic the Hedgehog is the titular main protagonist of the 1993 cartoon TV series of the same name.
He is an anthropomorphic blue hedgehog who is fast and is the leader of a group called the Freedom Fighters that battles Dr. Robotnik and his forces.
He was voiced by Jaleel White.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
In General[]
- He has stopped Robotnik's plan to take over Mobius and roboticize it multiple times.
- He led the Freedom Fighters in stopping Robotnik and his forces.
- He acts as a big brother to Tails and helps him into becoming a Freedom Fighter.
- He was determined to get Uncle Chuck unroboticized.
- Although he teases Sally, it's usually playful and he loves her very much.
- He saved his friends on many occasions and cares for them.
- Although he insults Robotnik by calling him "Robuttnik", he very much deserves it after everything he's done.
Season 1[]
- He saved Tails from a Buzz Bomber.
- He, at first refused to take Tails to Robotropolis as he is too young, but relented and hid him in his backpack to protect him.
- When he came back to the Great Forest, he warned the Freedom Fighters of Robotnik's plan to destroy it.
- He and the Freedom Fighters defeat the Buzz Bombers and Sonic destroys the Hedgehog missile.
- He attempts to rescue Cat, but failed and has the stealthbots destroyed in retaliation.
- He saved Sally when she was captured by Robotnik who used a duplicate robot of her.
- He attempted to save his Uncle Chuck who was roboticized by Robotnik.
- He freed Sally and Bunnie from Robotnik's control.
- He forfeits his race with the robot cheetah to save Sally, Bunnie, and Antoine and destroys Robotnik's power generator.
- He destroys the Shredder that tried to cut down trees in the Great Forest.
- He saved Antoine who was captured by Robotnik despite refusing to at first.
- He and Rotor destroy a spy satellite by Robotnik.

- He and Sally try to go back in time to prevent Robotnik's takeover of Mobius.
- He and Sally save their past selves and their friends' past selves from imprisonment.
- He and Sally return to the present.
- He saves Antoine from a group hyenas that tried to eat him.
- He helps Dulcy save the Mother Dragon from Robotnik.
- He worked together with Naugus and saved Sally and Bunnie who were crystalized and tries to help Sally save her father, King Acorn from being crystalized as well, but failed when they realize he can't leave the void because he'll get crystalized if he does and they leave him to his fate.
- He works together with another Royal Freedom Fighter group to destroy a war machine.
- He saves Antoine who was captured by Snively.
- He saves Uncle Chuck from Robotnik's mind control ray, restoring his mind.
- He and Sally destroy the Doomsday Machine, ultimately saving Mobius from being wiped out and the inhabitants from being killed by Robotnik and defeating him for good.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is far too arrogant, jerkish, and mischievous for NPG as he enjoys taking shots at Antoine, sometimes teases Sally, and acts too cocky. He was even willing to let Antoine get roboticized for his reckless action in trying to capture Robotnik, but got talked into saving him by Sally.
- He can be reckless and impulsive as he sometimes puts his teammates in danger while trying to stop Robotnik's plans and can rush into a situation without thinking about the consequences.
- He is stubborn as he sometimes ignores the warnings of his friends, especially Sally, as he constantly thinks he can handle the situation he's in.
- He can be egotistical and act overconfident in his skills which has caused Robotnik to take advantage of this on occasion.
Trivia[]
- Almost all versions of Sonic the Hedgehog from TV shows that are non-canon to the main Sonic timeline are IA as of now, although the status of his Underground counterpart is yet to be determined.
