Sonic the Hedgehog is the main character of the The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. He is voiced by Jaleel White.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He saved Mobius from Dr. Ivo Robotnik and defeated many other villains multiple times with his use of disguises, super speed, quick wits, resourcefulness and Bugs Bunny style of trickery used to outmaneuver and punish the villains, and has also redeemed several people, such deeds include:
- Saved Turtle Town from a Giant Asteroid by beating Robotnik in an Olympic Sports event.
- Defeated the Supreme High Robotnik who pretty much enslaved Mobius briefly.
- Saved a bunch of people abducted by Katella an alien huntress, while also freeing Robotnik from his unhealthy relationship with Katella additionally.
- Managed to redeem Wes Weasely, Breezie, Robotnik Junior, the misguided Spelunk, and a small robot named Robot.
- Prevented Robotnik from bombing several transportation locations.
- Saved Buffalo Village from an out-of-control Robotnik Express which has a lot of explosives that would've destroyed the village by creating an ramp to get it across a destroyed bridge.
- Outwitting the entirety of the S.S.S.S.S. Squad into defeat by playing tons of elaborate tricks on all of them in order to keep his town safe. He also defeated Coconuts, as well as saving Tails from Scratch and Grounder while he agreed to be captured in order to outsmart them later while liberating himself and Tails at the same time.
- Stopped Robotnik from sinking a hole of a village.
- Rescued Tails from the clutches of Warpnik.
- He and Tails manage to defeat Robotnik and his rival Dr. Qwark from taking over Mobius, and tricks both of them into fighting each other until they're both defeated, Qwark being driven in crazy into acting like a duck, and Robotnik into fighting a clone of himself.
- Hinders Robotnik's attempt to use his "Stupidity Ray" on Mobius to downgrade the intelligence of Mobians and make everyone become too braindead to stop him from conquering Mobius and makes Robotnik act stupid again. He also destroys an attacker robot in a castle Robotnik made.
- It must also be mentioned that his heroism goes outside of defeating supervillains, such as:
- In "High Stakes Sonic", he had to break through Robotnik's unfair rules in order to save Tails and the thousands of Mobian sheep that Robotnik forced to be his slaves.
- In "Sonic Breakout", he freed an avian artist while escaping Robotnik's giant dungeon.
- In "Big Daddy", he frees a baby gorilla's father (kidnapped by Robotnik offscreen) from being mind-controlled by Robotnik to terrorize Mobius under Robotnik's control, and he also brings Boom Boom back to his dad.
- In "Best Hedgehog", he freed Lucas (an imprisoned classmate of Robotnik for the time for 30 years) saved Tails and Lucas from being killed in an erupting volcano, and also helped Lucas reach out to Lucinda in the present time after having Tails help shaving him.
- Additionally, he pretends to be Lucindia with a disguise to trick and fool Robotnik into marrying Sonic himself, therefore foiling Robotnik's plan of forcing Lucindia to marry Robotnik himself.
- In "Tails' New Home", once he realized the parents' aspect with Tails was a hoax, he goes out to save Tails. He also made sure Tails was okay after falling from a tree, and he also finds ways to play tricks on Robotnik and his henchmen with a mailman persona into getting all three of the villains crushed by Robotnik's flattening device as a trap to flatten Sonic with magnetized shoes, which Sonic does by tying a shoe onto Robotnik, and uses the same disguise to trick Robotnik's minions into crushing themselves.
- It must be mentioned that he was willing to be Tails' brother ever since Tails was a young and stray flying fox.
- In "So Long Sucker", he had to free Goopster and bring him home right after playing tricks on Robotnik's henchmen.
- In "Sonic Gets Thrashed", he had to humiliate Robotnik on live TV to prevent Robotnik from making everyone his slaves, foiled Robotnik's murder scheme with Sonic, and also helps a bunch of abandoned robots get even with Robotnik.
- In "Submerged Sonic", he saves the underwater city of Labyrinth from being terrorized by Robotnik and also freeing the princess with another mermaid guy's help.
- In "MacHopper", he frees MacHopper from his brainwashed state and also helps getting revenge with Robotnik before Robotnik gets defeated once again.
- In "The Magic Hassle", he defeats Robotnik and Coconuts from stealing money while watching Robotnik chase Coconuts and Wes Weasley as if it was a movie.
- In "Zoobotnik", he plays a major role in saving all the animals kidnapped by Katella by pretending to be a damsel to Katella and Robotnik's delight, and he even freed Robotnik from his unhealthy relationship with Katella by pretending to be a priest while calling in Momma Robotnik to trash the wedding for Katella not inviting her, and he secretly helps Robotnik into being away from Katella while also having Robotnik being spanked by Momma Robotnik for being honest.
- In "Honey, I Shrunk the Hedgehog", he and Tails mind control Scratch and Grounder into humiliating Robotnik for forcing a group of miners into being his slaves (or pet food), and makes Scratch and Grounder malfunction as well.
- In "The Mobius 5000", he saved an orphanage, defeated Robotnik's robotic cars and hampered Robotnik from winning the race.
- In "Sonic is Running", he had to find a way to get everyone (besides Tails) out of being hypnotized the townsfolk and then prank Robotnik for his several propaganda tapes during a political debate against Henry Walrus, which helped making Robotnik look unprofessional on live television once again for Robotnik's false promises as a politician.
- In every episode of the show, he is a caring role model to his brother Tails as he often protects him no matter what it costed him.
- Additionally, he makes PSAs for kids alike in and out of universe to learn lessons to avoid dangers, no matter how simple or bizarre the situation can be.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is way too mischievous throughout the show, as not only he nicknames Robotnik and Scratch & Grounder with such names like "Robuttnik" and "Dumbots", but he also overdoes his level of inflicting punishment on them too much and even if you can justify them for their actions and/or for comedic reasons; Sonic still overdoes it in an incredibly bold and potentially manipulative way with examples that includes:
- Messing with the trio constantly more than what they deserved, such as getting Scratch and Grounder crushed, blown up, maimed and electrocuted in numerous ways, and making a Humpty Dumpty joke at Robotnik's expense while also having him face similar things to his henchbots such as being clobbered, beaten up, blown up and etc.
- Leaving Robotnik frozen in a lake for an entire week was way too harsh of a punishment.
- Leaving Robotnik, Scratch and Grounder frozen in cubes while having their heads and limbs swapped out can also be considered pretty demeaning in "Birth of an Salesman".
- Had made a deal with a blob alien to help him and Tails get back to Mobius and in return allow him to attempt in eating Robotnik in "Spacebots".
- Had tricked Robotnik into marrying Sonic himself instead of Lucindia, while a form of ironic justice and something Robotnik kind of deserved for his over 30 year cruelty and petty rivalry towards Lucas, and even if Robotnik did deserve it or was played for comedy, this can also be considered a little morally questionable on Sonic's behalf in "Best Hedgehog" (it's not helping that earlier in the episode, Sonic toyed with Robotnik in his own fortress with a giant frying pan to place Robotnik in with butter poured on Robotnik and also used a giant pepper flakes item to sprinkle on Robotnik before flipping Robotnik up and down as if Robotnik is a cooked egg as a way to mess with Robotnik, causing Robotnik to sneeze a lot).
- He has many selfish, arrogant, impudent and jerkish moments at times. With his love for chilidogs making him act bossy and impatient in a somewhat aggressive and impudent way, has been a jerk to few people such as Captain Rescue for example and has shown to be a bit arrogant at times though the jerkish ones are minor preventions since he apologized to them like he did with Captain Rescue (but not at all).
- He has done some pretty reckless things at times, such as he knowingly went into Robotnik's traps to get Chilidogs which endangered him and Tails as some instances got them both trapped and injured by them.
- He can be a little too smug and self-satisfied when he breaks the fourth wall.
