Sona is a major character in the 2017 video game Horizon Zero Dawn, as well as a mentioned character in the 2022 sequel Horizon Forbidden West. She is the War-Chief of the Nora tribe, as well as Vala and Varl's mother, who takes her duties to utmost seriousness and bravery, all for the sake of the tribe's safety.

What Makes Her Admirable?[]
- After being able to find a loophole within the Nora laws, Sona joined in with her Nora braves, and later Aloy and Varl, on a retaliatory attack against the Eclipse cultists who were responsible for the devastating Proving Massacre within the Ring of Metal in Devil's Grief. This killed any remaining cultists, who are regarded as a threat, responsible for the massacre and avenging the Braves who were killed from the massacre, including her daughter Vala.
- She leads a last-ditch defensive during the Eclipse's attempted genocide of the Nora tribe, before leading her own tribe in a violent counteroffensive, as soon as Aloy arrives back at All-Mother mountain.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- Despite Sona's acts of stopping the Eclipse in the Ring of Metal in Devil's Grief considered heroic, as they were the people behind the Proving Massacre that killed her daughter and other Nora braves, it is a considerable corrupting factor for NPG, as she did it out of vengeance to fuel her acts of revenge against them.
