You go, girl!
~ Guy's transformation phrase.
No more mister nice girl!
~ SheZow, getting serious.

Guy Eli Hamdon, also known as SheZow in his superhero identity, is the main protagonist of the 2012 animated series SheZow. He is a 12-year-old boy who is the newest wielder of the SheZow power ring (after his late Aunt Agnes). As SheZow, he protects his home town of Megadale with the help of his twin sister Kelly, his best friend Maz, and his new computer assistant Sheila.

He was voiced by David Myles Brown in the original Australian release, and Sam Vincent in the Canadian release.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

  • In just about every episode, he protects Megadale from a different threat, often risking his life on the field to protect the innocent citizens.
  • He stopped a bank robbery. While he did take advantage of the chaos to steal a $500 bill, he quickly regretted doing so and successfully returned the bill by the end of the episode.
  • He stopped Coldfinger from freezing Megadale.
  • When SheZap melted the train tracks as a train was coming, SheZow laid down on the tracks and acted as a rail to make sure the train wouldn't crash.
  • He defeated Tara, the previous SheZow's vengeful sidekick who turned evil, at Glamageddon.
  • He worked with DudePow to defeat Coldfinger and Grilla.
  • He defeated Baby Scarington, a demon baby who forced him to live through his worst nightmares, by facing his fears.
  • When Mega Monkey went back in time to fight Guy's relatives (the previous SheZows), Guy and Maz went back in time to stop him.
  • When Kelly and Maz got turned into toddlers from anti-aging cream, Guy babysat them while stopping a zoo breakout.
  • Guy, with help from Kelly and Maz, stopped aliens from stealing Earth's oceans in "She-T".
  • He and Maz helped a SheSquatch get out of her contract with a park ranger.
  • In "Mr. Nice Guy", Guy learned empathy and tried to reason with several of his villains by learning why they do what they do without fighting them.
  • Guy, Kelly, and Maz stopped Dr. Frankenweather from taking over Megadale with his giant weather machine.
  • In "Wishington", when Guy's misuse of his wishes caused a magic overload that threatened to destroy the world, he gave his last wish to Wishington so the latter could finally be what he wanted. As thanks for this selfless wish, Wishington undid the overload.
  • When Mega Monkey trapped Guy, Kelly, Maz, various superheroes, members of S.I.C.K., and unaffiliated civilians in a courtroom and tried to drop it into a volcano, Guy broke free and saved everyone by pushing the courtroom back to Megadale before the volcano could erupt.
  • When Mega Monkey brainwashed the mayor into making it "Evil Villain's Day" and allowing all villains to run rampant without the police being able to do anything, Guy went against the law and fought all the villains by himself.
  • He stopped Count Pussenbite from blocking out the sun.
  • He, Kelly, and Maz worked together to rescue Santa Claus from Tattoozala and save Christmas by delivering all the gifts before sunrise.
  • When Coldfinger escaped from his snowglobe and trapped all of Megadale in a giant icy dome, Guy and Maz got Coldfinger's mother involved and destroyed the dome.
  • In "Hot Rocks", Guy and Maz saved the Earth from blowing up by befriending the giant rock monster and putting the pink glamrock into the volcano, stopping it from erupting.
  • When Null and Void almost caused the moon to crash into the Earth, Guy used his strength (albeit with great difficulty) to push it back into space, saving everyone on Earth.
  • Guy, Kelly, and Maz all teamed up with a (temporarily) revived Aunt Agnes to defeat Madam Curator and stop her from stealing Guy's ring.
  • He teamed up with DudePow to stop Mega Monkey from using the Wonder Melon to take over both of their worlds.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He can be extremely arrogant and egotistical, most notably in the episode "Stuck Up" where he became so egotistical that his head swelled up and developed its own gravitational pull.
  • He tends to cause several of the episode's problems to begin with through sheer arrogance and hubris, such as accidentally creating SheZap by refusing to get a manicure and dropping one of his fingernails in a vat of toxic waste, angrily throwing the Vampire Cats in Zombie Town game into the sun (causing the characters in the game to become real), and inadvertently turning the plants in Droosha's garden alive by misusing a revitalising ray.
  • While generally friendly and laid-back, he also has a lot of jerkish moments, such as undervaluing Kelly (causing her to temporarily quit as his manager), misusing Sheila (causing her to temporarily unplug herself), and using his school principal as a practice dummy for several of his gadgets in "SheZap is Whack".
  • He is unnecessarily cruel to some of his villains, such as keeping Coldfinger trapped in a snowglobe and threatening him to make it snow or be transferred to a smaller one, or turning Madam Curator to stone.
  • He sometimes abuses his status as SheZow for personal gain, such as making a deal with Fizzburp to get unlimited fizzy drinks or trying to steal $500 from a bank.
  • He can be seen as an anti-hero. On top of all the aforementioned flaws, it's pointed out in "Supernatural History" that Aunt Agnes chose him over Kelly to be SheZow because he's innovative and "thinks like a villain".

Trivia[]

  • SheZow was originally intended to get a second season before being cancelled later on after the dissolution of the Hub Network. Had this season been made, it is unknown how Guy's status as IA would have been affected, as he either could have retained his corrupting traits or lost some of them to become NPG.
