Sebas Tian is one of the supporting characters of the light novel/manga/anime series Overlord.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
In General[]
- While he did let Solution eat an human, he wasn't an innocent exactly as while Sebas do likes humans he despises any bad and wicked ones as such he only lets the bad ones suffer and be harmed.
- While it was stated the Blue Roses did more than him, they did it as a group and did it offscreen meaning they all suffer from offscreen heroism. Plus it be unfair to compare him to them since they are much weaker than him.
- Unlike most of Ainz Oowl Gown and Narberal Gamma's heroic acts which are fabricated or done for pragmatic reasons, all of Sebas' actions were done out selfless reasons and are genuine and he did it with far less resources than Ainz, allowing him to stand out from his master.
Overlord[]
- He managed to convince Ainz Ooal Gown to save Carne Village after initially refusing at first.
- He risked to save Tuare and heal her up despite knowing the consequences of doing so.
- He rescued some trafficked women with Brian and Climb when he went to deal with Staffan Heivish. While he did brutally kill Staffan, this is justified for his acts of corruption and abuse & rape to women.
- He managed to convince Ainz Ooal Gown to take Tuare back to Nazirack.
- He managed to take down Six Arms and rescue Tuare when she got kidnapped again
- When the Sorcerer Kingdom declared war on Re-Estate, Sebas alongside human sympathizing NPCs manage to convince Ainz to spare some people.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is too loyal to a heinous villain like Ainz Ooal Gown to be NPG, as while he is disturbed by him ordering to "kill" Tuare in order to prove his loyalty, he ultimately follows through after some hesitation, as while Coyctus did block the blow in time, this is still too much of a corruption even then which also shows he can be very lethal at times. This doesn't help the fact that he prioritizes his loyalty and orders of Ainz over him doing noble acts making him On & Off and is an Villain by the narrative of the series due to his heroism too brief to him an Heroes Wiki Page anyways. Plus an PG or NPG would've tried to outright stop Ainz's Invasion of the Re-Estate Kingdom instead, yet Sebas didn't do anything beyond swaying him to spare some survivors.
- Due to him being a programed NPC by Touch Me, he has clear moral agency issues though he has some sense of right and wrong making it an minor prevention.
