Satoru Gojo, also known as The Strongest, is the overarching protagonist of the anime/manga Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and its sequel series Jujutsu Kaisen. He is the most powerful Jujutsu Sorcerer in the world, surpassing even the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. He is also a teacher at Tokyo Jujutsu High.
Like other sorcerers, Gojo is dedicated to protecting the world from cursed spirits. However, he believes the Jujutsu Sorcerer society is flawed and wants to reform it. To achieve this, he trains the next generation of sorcerers as a teacher at Jujutsu High.
In the anime, he is voiced by Yuichi Nakamura in Japanese and by Kaiji Tang in English.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- In general, he is the main reason Japan—and the entire world—stays safe. As the strongest sorcerer, he protects the country from being overrun by cursed spirits.
- He and the sorcerers at Jujutsu High went to great lengths to protect Riko Amanai, saving Misato Kuroi after her kidnapping.
- Fought Toji, allowing Geto and Riko to escape, and ultimately killed Toji after reviving himself with cursed energy.
- Continued protecting civilians from cursed spirits and rejected Geto's plan for genocide against non-sorcerers.
- Honored Toji's legacy by taking in Megumi and his sister to prevent them from being sold to the Zenin clan.
- Refused to execute Yuta, recognizing his potential, and defended him from attacking curses.
- Protected his students from Geto’s ambush and fought Geto’s cursed spirits in Shinjuku.
- Mercy killed Geto after he was fatally wounded by Yuta.
- Took in Yuji and saved him from execution, protecting him from the higher-ups.
- Protected Ijichi by sending him away from danger and saved Yuji from Hanami’s attack.
- Defended students during the Kyoto Goodwill Event and killed Hanami, who was attacking civilians.
- During Mahito's attack, used a .2-second domain expansion to kill 1,000 transfigured humans without harming civilians, saving lives and allowing survivors to recover months later.
- After being freed, immediately fought Kenjaku and killed the corrupt higher-ups of Jujutsu Society.
- Encouraged Yuji to carry on his dreams and surpass him if he died fighting Sukuna.
- Agreed with Yuta's backup plan to use his body if necessary to defeat Sukuna.
- Gave his all to defeat Sukuna in their final battle.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He can be very sadistic and lethal, as there are several occasions where he shows joy in tormenting others, such as when he tortured Jogo during their first fight, and when he smiled while killing Hanami. He also slaughtered the Higher-Up's with no remorse.
- He is not only extremely arrogant, but a borderline egomaniac who is overconfident in his abilities. This is largely due to his immense strength and his (justifiable) belief that no one poses a threat to him.
- Although he is very kind and affable to his students, he is a MASSIVE jerk toward pretty much everyone else, including Principal Gakuganji. He's also very mischievous and enjoys pranking others, like Nanami and Utahime.
- While he cares about his students and risked his life multiple times to protect them, he can be very reckless and willingly puts them in harm's way, like when he sent Panda and Inumaki after Geto, knowing the latter would defeat them and Yuta would unlock his full potential.
- Even though he prioritizes saving and protecting lives over anything else, he was still willingly to let a few innocent civilians die for the greater good during his fight in Shibuya.

- He is currently the only Jujutsu Kaisen character so far to be approved to be Inconsistently Admirable.
