~ Sadie Adler |
Sadie Adler is one of the two tritagonists (alongside Charles Smith) of the 2018 action-adventure video game Red Dead Redemption II, and a supporting character of its 2019 multiplayer component Red Dead Online.
Initially a rancher with her husband Jake, Sadie falls in with Dutch van der Linde’s Gang after they rescued her from the O’Driscoll Gang after the Later brutally murdered her husband. By then, she dedicates herself at their eradication and becomes one of Arthur Morgan’s most loyal friends and a gunwoman for the gang. She is one of the few members of the gang who sided with Arthur when the gang fell apart.
She was portrayed by Alex McKenna.
Her Good Ranking[]
What Makes Her Admirable?[]
- Even before the events of Red Dead Redemption 2, she helped her husband, Jake Adler, with housework and defending their ranch.
- She loved her husband Jake deeply until the end and everything she does is to honor him.
- When Lemoyne Raiders try to rob both her and Arthur Morgan, she defends herself and Arthur by shooting one of the raiders, and then with Arthur, killing them.
- After the decapitation of Kieran, instead of going inside the house as she was told, she fights off the O'Driscoll's by killing 3 of them and then helping Arthur.
- After the botched Saint Denis bank robbery, alongside Charles, she saves the gang from Shady Belle by bringing them to Lakay.
- When the Pinkertons attack Lakay, alongside Arthur she flanks the Pinkertons from the barn to save everyone
- As Dutch didn't want to save John from Sisika, she found information on where he is so that she can employ Arthur to save him.
- With Dutch and Arthur, she ensures that Colm is executed by getting Arthur to kill Colm's sniper and holding 2 other O'Driscoll's hostage.
- Kills the last of the O'Driscoll's by killing everyone in their biggest hideout, Hanging Dog Ranch.
- in the battle of Cornwall's Refinery, she helps the natives with fighting the U.S Military and then asks to come with Arthur and Charles to drop off Eagle Flies at Wapiti.
- Found out that Abigail was kidnapped by Pinkertons and employed Arthur to save her.
- Redeems Arthur by taking Abigail and Jack Marston to a safe place and then allowing Arthur to kill Micah.
Epilogue[]
- While she is still Sadistic and lethal, she is calmer with john with her taking bounties so that john can pay off his Morgage.
- Became a bounty hunter where she went after Gang leaders, gang members, and con artists.
- Captures Nathan Kirk who robbed a bank.
- Captures Finely who has killed children and other innocent people.
- Captures Ramón Cortez who is the brother of Esteban Cortez, a murderous member of the Del Lobo gang.
- Captures Marshall Thurwell who committed theft, fraud, and Avoiding arrest.
- When John asks why they won't receive money from a gang member who offers more than a lawman, Sadie denies the question and admits that it's not for the money but it's the right thing to do.
- Goes to John Marston's ranch where she tells them that one of Micah's right-hand men might know where he is.
- This not only allows John to avenge Arthur and the other gang members death, but also takes down Micah's own gang who robbed stagecoaches and killed innocents.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- She is still too lethal for PG or NPG as she killed one of the O'Driscoll's by stabbing him multiple times, her personal vendetta against the O'Driscoll's still exists, and she shows aggressiveness towards bounties.
- She is also very wrathful as her villainous and admirable acts rely on her killing O'Driscoll's, Bounties, and Micah and his gang.
- She has a reckless moment where she indirectly gets Arturo shot by one of the O'Driscoll's
- in chapter 3 she threatened Pearson and can optionally threaten or slap Arthur, she never truly shows remorse for what she did in these Scenarios.
