| ~ Runt regarding Foxy Loxy. |
Runt of the Litter is one of the three tritagonists (alongside Buck Cluck and Fish Out of Water) of Disney's 46th full-length feature film Chicken Little.
He is a giant timid pig who is known for his overtly hyper-expressive nature, which can involve fear. In spite of this, he does have an about of courage for others.
He was voiced by Steve Zahn.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- Unlike the rest of the townsfolk, he, along with Abby and Fish, is nice and friendly towards Chicken Little and always help and support him when he needs it.
- He helped Chicken Little train for baseball so he could earn the town's respect.
- Despite his cowardice, he went to save Fish after he was taken on the alien spaceship.
- He tried to help Chicken Little convince the town that aliens were real and they are coming to invade Earth.
- He drove a firetruck through the aliens, which helped Chicken Little, Buck, and Kirby get into the Town Hall and stop the alien invasion for good, allowing him to cross the in-universe baseline.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- After Foxy's personality was completely altered by the teleportation process, Runt wanted her to remain cognitively disarranged despite being easy for the aliens to fix her. This is morally dubious and wrong as while she was a bully to him and his friends earlier, she wasn’t a dangerous villain who needed to be brainwashed to be defeated. There’s also a shade of perversion since he got into a relationship with her after this, which makes it even more problematic and even if she entered it willingly, she had moral agency issues here.
- Even if one could argue he was too young to know better, it would only indicate moral agency as another significant prevention.
