- He raised Nod after his father's demise and mentored him to become a Leafman.

- He accompanied Tara on the journey to keep her safe at all times.
- He sensed boggans nearby and realized the coming danger, ordering all leafmen to be at the ready.
- He rushed to protect the Queen during the ambush.
- He caught Tara mid-leap in his hummingbird and took her away from the boggans chasing her.
- He defended Tara from Mandrake and Dagda's arrows and shot Dagda to death while doing so.
- After Tara was hit by an arrow, he tried to go after her but was intercepted by Tara's storm.
- He pushed past his grief to take MK to Nim Galuu so that the Pod could bloom, allowing the forest's life to continue.
- He ordered the leafmen to protect Moonhaven in his absence.
- He saved Nod from being fed to a snake by Bufo and tried to keep him out of the mission.

- After Mandrake called his full army, he sacrificed himself to stay behind and fight all the boggans so that the others could escape.
- After somehow surviving, he made his way back to moonhaven to fight in the final battle.
- He prevented Mandrake from corrupting the Pod and fought him despite being severely weakened.
- He respects Tara's posthumous wishes for the new queen.
- He lets Grub join the Leafmen, fulfilling his life long dream.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He made fun of Bomba believing he was big and dumb and led him astray on purpose when he was trying to find them and prove their existence, which painted Bomba as a madman and led his wife to divorce him, making him directly responsible for MK's rough childhood and resentment for her father. What's worse is that he barely shows remorse for this.
- Furthermore he and Nod also mock Bomba with offensive impressions in front of MK.
- It's also possible he's the one that dragged Nod and the other leafmen into the scheme to begin with.
- He has some extreme and questionable teaching methods, especially when it comes to Nod as shown in several occasions:
- At the beginning of the film he refuses to save Nod at first when he's running from the boggans and despite saving him, he leaves him hanging in the grackle's talon with the expectation that he would free himself which forced Nod to return to Moonhaven alone, hours later, riding a sparrow. This event led Nod to temporarily quit the leafmen.
- He angrily blamed Nod for leaving the Pod in Nim Galuu's tree despite the fact that it was a reasonable thing to do, Nod couldn't have known about Mandrake's attack and he already felt bad about it and even told MK she was supposed to be the mature one despite her being a child that was thrown into the whole situation against her will and then continued to rant to the two.
- He remained overly secretive about Nod's father, barely telling him about who he was and never even told him how he died until they infiltrated Mandrake's territory.
- He is lethal as he shot Mandrake's son Dagda to death and never showed the slightest hint of remorse. Even Mandrake calls him out for this.
