Titans, Go!
~ Robin's catchphrase through the series
The man: handsome, strong, intense, great hair.
~ Robin describing himself

Richard John "Dick" Grayson, better known as Robin, is one of the main protagonists of Teen Titans Go!. He is the leader of the Teen Titans, who wants to be the best superhero in the world.

He is voiced by Scott Menville.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

  • He is one of the best superheroes of the series even despite having no superpowers, since he usually has a plan for every situation and knows how to use the resources at his disposal.
  • He is the Titan who takes his duty as a superhero most seriously, being sometimes the only one who fights against villains.
  • He cares about the other Titans, he wants to help them when there is trouble and wants to turn them into better superheroes.
  • He has saved Jump City on many occasions from villains such as Brother Blood, Brain, the H.I.V.E. Five among others.
  • Sometimes he is the only member of the team who shows common sense and tries to stop the other Titans from doing things they will later regret.
  • He misses his parents, showing that he really cared about them.
  • Even in the most desperate situations, he never gives up and encourages his team to fight until the end.
  • He is a patriot, and he uses his pride and loyalty towards his country to defend it and to encourage his partners.
  • He usually shows interest in learning new things that would help him and the titans in future occasions.
  • In several episodes, he is the one with the healthiest lifestyle on his team and wants others to have a healthy lifestyle too.
  • On some occasions, he contributed to bigger heroic acts, like saving the galaxy from plots of bigger villains as Darkseid.
  • In Teen Titans Go! to the Movies, he is the one who did the most to defeat Slade and prevent him from brainwashing the entire world population.
  • In Teen Titans Go vs Teen Titans, he played an important role in stopping the plans of both Trigons.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He is a control freak, he constantly forces the other Titans to do things his way even despite they have better ways.
  • He is extremely obsessive and sometimes paranoid even with the most insignificant things, this obsessions often harms the other Titans.
  • He does not tolerate being contradicted, which makes him turn against others and cause them problems.
  • His love for Starfire can turn into an obsession sometimes, which leads him to check out all her movements and to attack anyone that can make him lose her.
  • His concern about not being the best at something can lead him to cheat or use dirty methods, the most common example is when he breaks Kid Flash's leg during their competitions.
  • Although he wants his team to be the best, he may use unethical methods like making them follow hard and strict routines or using the best of their emoticlones (a clone with a fragment of their personalities) as part of the team although he forces them to give up the rest of their personality.
  • He can be very selfish. He tends to make fun of others for any achievement he gets, sometimes he even believes himself superior to others because of it. Other times prefers to save his own skin rather than that of his companions and even being willing to sacrifice them.
  • Although he takes his duty of fighting evil, he also tends to ignore threats on many occasions.
  • Robin always disturbs people's privacy as he is confirmed to be a type of stalker sometimes.
  • Sometimes he is heroic just to get credit and not for justice reasons.
  • He can be a lethal hero, sometimes he does more damage to the villains than he should or even when they don't want to make any evil. He sometimes attacks them just for fun.
  • He can be very destructive, since sometimes in battle or just being in the city he has no respect for the public or other people's property, which ironically can make him more destructive than villains.
  • He is very arrogant, since even when he is doing something terribly wrong he can believe that is doing the right thing.
  • When he is not the voice of reason, he can be as mischievous as the other Titans and takes the same wrong decisions, in this cases being Raven usually the voice of reason.
  • Many of his defects make him to be an incompetent in several situations.
  • He tends to despise Beast Boy for his incompetence, sometimes in excess though this is a minor prevention given the fact that Beast Boy constantly mistreats and bullies Robin himself and his incompetence tends to leave the Titan’s in very bad situations.
  • Sometimes he has fallen to villainy, either because he believes he is doing the right thing or just because he wants to be bad. And became as heinous as his enemies or more.
