Shocked Uzi

That's... convenient.
Uzi Doorman has realized that this candidate isn't approved as Inconsistently Admirable due to not being proposed in blog posts and thus we don't know if they meet all the criteria! While this isn't the worst thing in the world, this candidate needs a proposal so it can be sick as hell! So go on out there and propose this candidate!

King Regis Lucis Caelum is a major supporting character in the Final Fantasy XV Universe, and the father of Noctis Lucis Caelum.

He is voiced by Tsutomu Isobe in the Japanese version, and by Sean Bean from the movie and Jim Pirri from the video game.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

  • He was a good father to Noctis and did everything he could to protect him from harm.
  • He asks Ignis, Gladiolus, and Prompto to not guide Noctis, but rather stand by his side as he finds his own path.
  • In The Dawn of the Future, Regis finally sees his error of supporting Bahamut, comes clean to his son about it, and helps him destroy Bahamut even though it would erase all magic from Eos.
  • He ultimately forgives Ardyn after learning the truth of his fall from grace because of Bahamut.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • Although he was willing to do things that would be considered an outright betrayal of those who trust him to ensure that the prophecy comes to pass, Regis feels guilt over it because he was ordered by Bahamut to do them.
  • His killing of Noctis(in the first thirteen cycles[1]) for the prophecy is too corrupting for him to be PG or NPG, even if it was on Bahamut's orders, which he knew was ultimately wrong.
