Plagg is one of the deuteragonists in Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir. He is the Kwami of Destruction who is tied to the Black Cat Miraculous, a ring that can transform one into a black cat-themed superhuman. His current owner is Adrien Agreste, a model who is the son of a famous fashion designer, who uses the Cat Miraculous to transform into the superhero Cat Noir.
He is voiced by Thierry Kazazian in the original French version. In English, he is voiced by Max Mittelman, who also voiced Saitama. For the Korean dub, Jeon Tae-yeol dubbed him, who also does Obanai Iguro in Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - Mugen Train for the theatrical version and SpongeBob SquarePants.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- Has teamed up with several heroes in events prior to the show to help them save the world.
- Allows Adrien to turn into Cat Noir, in order to stop Hawk Moth (who is secretly Adrien's father), who is a delusional terrorist who psychologically abuses his son and terrorizes Paris on a weekly basis.
- In "Reflekdoll", when he was separated from Adrien, he teamed up with Marinette instead and allowed her to transform her into Lady Noire.
- In "Style Queen", he teamed up with Ladybug to save the day after Adrien was petrified by the titular villain.
- In the Season 5 two-part special "The Kwami's Choice", he and Tikki decide to relinquish their owners' Miraculous so their owners can follow their romantic pursuit with each other without having the stress of fighting akumatized villains. Plagg hands his Miraculous to Zoé Lee, and makes her able to become Kitty Noire, so that she can team up with Scarabella (who is Alya Cesaire) defeat the akumatized villain Kikou. In the second half of the special, titled "Deflagration", after his Miraculous is successfully stolen by Monarch, he decides to use Cataclysm on his Miraculous before Monarch can make a wish and destroy the universe in the process.
- In "Miraculous Tokyo", he and Adrien and traveled to New York City again to assist the United Heroez in defeating a powerful villain.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He can be a jerk sometimes.
- He is incredibly lazy and often shows he does not want to engage in combat and prefers to eat.
- He can be very reckless, such as endangering others by using his Cataclysm ability without a holder, which is shown to destroy buildings, in episodes such as "Style Queen". He is even responsible for wiping out the non-avian dinosaurs and sinking Atlantis.
- In the episode "Deflagration", in order to save the universe from Monarch, he used Cataclysm on his Miraculous. This caused an apocalypse that is said to destroy Paris, and eventually the world. While this was to stop Monarch's plans, this is nevertheless an extremely dangerous move that prevents him from being anything higher than IA.
- He has shown to be quite incompetent and careless, examples of this are in episodes such as:
- Rogercop, where he thought that Chloe's box that contained her bracelet had camembert inside and when he started to play with it, it got stuck to his head. This would lead to Chloe accusing Marinette and wanting Officer Roger to arrest her, Mayor Bourgeois firing Roger thus leading to his akumatization, and Marinette accusing everyone in the process. It should also be noted that Roger would have never been akumatized into Rogercop if it wasn't for Plagg.
- Kwamibuster, where he kept going to eat "magic cheese" which was to lure him and Tikki so Ms. Mendeleiev could capture them. The fact that kwamis can't be captured or recorded doesn't excuse the fact that he put himself, Tikki and the identities of Ladybug and Cat Noir in danger. This also led to Olga being akumatized into Kwamibuster and capturing him and Tikki. Another thing that should be noted is that this is another akumatization that would have never happened if it wasn't for Plagg's cheese addiction, which is actually pointed out by Tikki when she and Plagg were captured.
- He was the only one who didn't take responsibility for what happened in "Sandboy" even letting Marinette, Tikki and Wayzz take the fall.
- Due to kwamis being born off an abstract concept of something that has occurred in the universe and that Plagg is based on the abstract concept of destruction, he has some moral agency issues.
Trivia[]
- He is one of the three Miraculous Ladybug characters to be Inconsistently Admirable, alongside Queen Bee and Carapace.
- Coincidentally, all of Plagg's holders in the series Adrien, Marinette, and Zoé are all Near Pure Good.
