That's... convenient. |
Philoctetes is the deuteragonist of Disney's 35th animated film Hercules.
He's a Satyr well known for training heroes that would eventually all end up as failures, but all that changed when he took Hercules under his wing.
In the original film, he was voiced by Danny DeVito.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- Before the story he trained many heroes to fight, including Achilles, even though they all failed.
- He trained Hercules to be the hero he is.
- He coached and assisted Hercules in defeating Nessus, the Hydra, and many other monsters.
- He warned Hercules that Meg was working with Hades.
- He encouraged Hercules not to give up and because of him, Herc was able to save the town by defeating Cyclops and the Titans.
- He looks after a dying Meg while Hercules goes after Hades.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He's far too wrathful, aggressive, and temperamental to be PG or NPG.
- He can be a jerk many times, especially when he mockingly didn’t believe Zeus was Hercules father.
- He can be somewhat of a pervert, such as the part when he was chasing nymphs and hitting on Meg when they first met.
