Patroklos Alexander is a character in the Soulcalibur series of fighting games, serving as the main protagonist of the Soulcalibur V. He is the second child of series protagonist Sophitia Alexandra and the younger brother of Pyrrha Alexandra.
He is voiced by Kenn in the Japanese version, and by Yuri Lowenthal in the English version.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He promised his father on his deathbed that he would find and reunite with his sister, as well as avenge his mother's death.
- He defeated Tira and freed his sister from her manipulation, fulfilling his father's wish of having the siblings reunited.
- He agreed to take up the task of destroying Soul Edge and slaying his malfested sister initially, later on he changed his goal to a more noble one by simply defeating her and freeing her from Soul Edge's control.
- He took the Edge's Master's warning seriously, and after traveling back in time, he saved his sister instead of killing her outright like what Soul Calibur demanded.
- He disarmed Soul Edge from his malfested sister's grasp, causing Soul Edge to become docile and stopping the fourth Evil Seed, saving the world in the process.
- He refused to listen to Soul Calibur/Elysium's orders to kill his sister, even after she tried to manipulate him in the form of his mother.
- He defeated Elysium, preventing her from taking over his body and "purifying" the world of Soul Edge's influence by killing Pyrrha and possibly numerous others.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is arguably a villain in the early part of the game's storyline, as he was willingly lethal and murders innocents under the false belief that they are "malfested scum", he even goes as far as to show virtually no remorse for these actions and found the killing of them to be rather entertaining based on battle dialogue.
- He is extremely arrogant, impulsive, and self-absorbed, making his personality too corrupting for being Pure Good or even Near Pure Good. Although he does come to his senses later on in the story after learning Graf Dumas's true identity, he still acts rather stubborn and jerkish afterwards.
Trivia[]
- Patroklos is currently the only Soulcalibur character who is Inconsistently Admirable.
- Interestingly, he is also the only protagonist who stopped an Evil Seed who isn't Pure Good.
- It's possible that had he completely shedded his arrogance, he could've been a higher moral rank.
