Nobita Nobi is the main protagonist of the Doraemon franchise.
He is a 10-year-old fourth grader who lives in Tokyo. Due to his bad records about almost everything, his great-great-grandson from the future, Sewashi sends him the robot Doraemon to help him to get a better life.
He is currently voiced by Megumi Ōhara in the Japanese version, Johnny Yong Bosch in the English dubbed version, and Muriel Hoffman in the UK dubbed version.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He's nice to people, and is often helping them on their problems. He also cares for his gang and always makes sure they are out of danger.
- While he borrows Doraemon's gadget, he does some good deeds like helping his friends and other people, and sometimes prevent something very bad gonna happens.
- He wants to improve himself with Doraemon's help to be a better person and change his future to make his descendants happier.
- He hates Gian's hostility and Suneo's behaviour, sometimes teaming up with his friends to prevent him from doing bad deeds.
- He cares for abused/abandoned animals, people who's tragic, and helping them to achieve their dreams.
- In long manga and featured anime films, he helps his friends to defeat antagonistic forces and play a big part in saving earth, other planet and dimensions (e.g. Killing Demaon to prevent his plan to conquer earth, get Doraemon the idea to save Birdpia from Phoenixia, etc.)
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He's on & off, as while he's heroic in some episodes, in other episodes he makes troubles and goes too far on that.
- He's generally an anti-hero, as he often borrows Doraemon's gadget for his selfish needs.
- He's very mischievous, and he often borrows gadgets to make trouble, and this sometimes leads to big danger.
- He's lethal, as he can use gadgets to harm Gian and Suneo, and isn't reluctant to kill a villain though he does that to save the people he's protecting.
- Despite being warned by Doraemon about the gadgets, he usually ignores it and rarely think about the consequence.
- He's very incompetent, and this often lead to his problems.
- He's somewhat petty, as he can easily get angry just because the gadget doesn't get things into his will.
- He's willing to trick or harm his friends for fun or if they make him angry.
