Nikita Khrushchev is a major character from the Hearts of Iron IV mod Thousand-Week Reich. He is the leader of the Novosibirsk Government in the reformist/khrushchevite path who seeks to reform his country and restore it to its former glory, and end the oppressive regimes of the Nazis and Beria.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He defeats Zhukov and stops his military dictatorship.
- He passed agrarian reforms, which would benefit the nation and solve the food crisis and improve the economy.
- After invading the Yeniseyk Governate, he would abolish the gulag system.
- Reformed the election system and economic systems.
- Would invade and defeat the oppressive government of either Beria or Suslov depending on the path.
- He would improve the lives of people via reforms.
- He would take back most of Russia and Eastern Europe from the Nazis and free the people from their slavery/extermination campaign, and would rebuild and the cities and do the best to try help the people who had been brutalized by the Nazis, even opening orphanages.
- He topples the Nazi regimes and ends their occupation of Europe.
- Would join the UN in an attempt to achieve true world peace, and would form the Hanoi pact to protect Vietnam from a possible Chinese invasion.
- In a path he would try his best to either reform Kazakhstan and help the crops would.
- In another path he would try his best to advance the space program and help advance science.
- After managing to pass all reforms and fully reform the union he would look forward to a good future and continue his plans.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is an anti-heroic character and is meant to be seen as grey zoned at times, and is willing to use grey zoned methods to achieve his goals
- He has a tendency to be lethal/irresponsible, as he is willing to start wars (even if said wars are justified) and in some paths is willing to exile people, albeit to stop Nazi collaborators.
- He is willing to manipulate people to get his way as shown during his rise to power, though he seemed to mostly abandon this method.
