Doctor Nicole Watterson (née Senicourt) is one of the three tritagonists (alongside Anais and Richard) of Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball franchise.
She's the mother of the titular Gumball and the matriarch of the Watterson Family, who works at the Rainbow factory. She is the most and maybe only person responsible in the family.
Due to her strict nature, Nicole occasionally acts antagonistic, but it's usually motivated by her love for her family.
She is voiced by British actress, voice actress, and singer Teresa Gallagher.

What Makes Her Admirable?[]
- She tried to stop the Rejects Club from destroying Gumball's reputation.
- She returned Richard's cape after realizing how much it meant to him.
- She fought Mr. Rex after his daughter bullied Gumball.
- She tried to convince Larry to fire Richard to stop him from accidentally destroying the universe.
- Her driving skills are also very crucial in stopping her husband from destroying the universe by getting Larry to the place where Richard is supposed to deliver the pizza, thus making it so that Larry will discover Richard tends to eat the pizzas and fire him. This all cannot be done without Nicole's driving skills.
- She got the Wattersons' house back from Harold and the partygoers.
- She saved Gumball and Darwin from falling to their deaths.
- She helped stop Darwin from taking over the world.
- She drove the turtle hatchlings out of Elmore, saving the entire city. She also rescued their victims that were kidnapped as a source of food.
- She helped stop the Rainbow Factory from blowing up.
What Makes Her Inconsistent?[]
- Just like everyone else in the Watterson family, she is On & Off and can act like a villain at times:
- She broke into Larry's store against despite his pleading.
- When Larry told her she had to pay $300 dollars in fees, she and her children ran away from the store.
- She escaped from prison.
- She willingly angered Hector so he would destroy the town, likely causing innumerable casualties.
- She tried to trick her doppelgänger into getting herself and her family killed by driving off a cliff.
- Due to her part of causing destruction and chaos to the town, the residents of Elmore have shown great dislike to The Wattersons, even kicking them out of the city once.
- She's an anti-hero and often resorts to criminal or questionable measures, even when she has good intentions.
- She's extremely wrathful, constantly resorting to violence and intimidation and frequently losing her temper. While sometimes her rage is understandable, she still tends to take it too far.
- She can treat her family pretty horribly at times and is borderline abusive, such as when she left Gumball in the desert or when she insulted Richard's parenting skills.
- She is a hypocrite, as she often judges her family for their antics and irresponsibility while doing the same sorts of things, even participating with them at times.
- She is often very arrogant in her capabilities and can be self-absorbed.
- While not entirely her fault, she antagonizes and insults Granny Jojo on several occasions, as Nicole finds Jojo obnoxious for constantly criticizing the way Nicole runs her family.
