Nathan Drake is the main protagonist of the Uncharted franchise. He is a wisecracking treasure hunter that goes on dangerous adventures with his long time partner, Victor Sullivan. One day however, Nathan meets a woman named Elena Fisher who he starts to grow feelings for, but due to Elena wanting him to let go of his obsession with treasure hunting, Nate eventually lets go of it despite their normal lives being mundane at the same time. After Sam Drake (Nathan's older brother) forced Nate to come out of retirement, and eventually Elena too, the two of them realized how much they missed their old treasure hunting days, so they start using the money that Sam had snuck into Elena's coat to start treasure hunting again, but in a legal way.
He was voiced and motion captured by Nolan North, and in the film, he was portrayed by Tom Holland.

- He gives Sam advice on no matter how exciting his next adventure will be, he will never be satisfied with the reward in the end.
What Makes Him Inconsistent[]
- Nathan is an anti-hero as he does do heroic things at times, but is mainly driven by thrill seeking and personal interest and can be morally questionable, as he decides to go behind Elena's back about helping Sam with his debt and even lied about it, rather then just telling her about it, steals things left and right for his and his partner's benefit rather then due to a heroic intent, and when he and Sam broke into a random house just to get their mother's journals despite knowing it was wrong and they could potentially get caught by the police.
- While a lot of his kills are in self defense, Nathan is still willing to kill a lot of people while making callous remarks at his enemies sometimes and Nathan makes the first shot at times towards his enemies.
- He can have some self-serving and jerk-ish moments, as he was willing to let Lazarevic and Navarro get what they wanted if it meant he didn't have to keep putting his life in constant danger, even telling Lazarevic to go to hell, calling Roman an a**hole and when he even makes a rude mom joke to one of his co-workers.
