I'm Miles Prower, but my friends call me "Tails"!
~ Miles "Tails" Prower, in Tails' Tale
Hey Sonic, wait up!!
~ Miles "Tails" Prower, in Super Special Sonic Search & Smash Squad.

Miles Prower, better known by his nickname Tails, is the deuteragonist of the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series.

He is Sonic the Hedgehog's faithful Freedom Fighter sidekick and adopted younger brother.

A gentle soul born with the abnormality of having two tails, Tails lost his family when he was just a baby. After meeting Sonic however, he was adopted as the hedgehog's brother. Since then, Tails has accompanied Sonic during his adventures. He is also inspired by Sonic's heroism and dreams of becoming as strong and heroic as him when he grows up.

In the unreleased pilot, he was voiced by the late Russi Taylor. In the series, he was voiced by Christopher Stephen Welch. In the Christmas special, he was voiced by Chris Turner.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

  • He served as Sonic's sidekick and helped him save Mobius from Dr. Robotnik in many episodes.
  • When he was an infant, he wanted to be with Sonic since he lost his family and carried him in a sack when he accidentally dropped him.
  • He often saves Sonic whenever he is captured or stuck in a hazard.
  • In "So Long Sucker", he and Sonic save Goobster from Dr. Robotnik and Scratch and Grounder. He also wanted to keep him as a pet.
  • In the Quest for the Chaos Emeralds saga, he and Sonic save the universe from Dr. Robotnik.
  • In "Sonically Ever After", he and Sonic save the fairy tale characters from Dr. Robotnik who stole the magic wand.
  • In "Sonic Christmas Blast", he helps Sonic save Christmas from Dr. Robotnik and helps him find presents for Sally.
  • Aside from Sonic usually saving the day and saving Tails when he was kidnapped, Tails has performed numerous feats himself:
    • In "Slowwww Going", he zaps Sonic with the slow-go ray, reverting him back to his normal speed.
    • In "Psuedo Sonic", he takes care of Sonic and Lawrence when they overflate and tries to save Sonic's reputation when he got framed for causing crimes by stopping Robotnik who created Psuedo Sonic and saves Lawrence's parents.
    • In "Tails in Charge", he protects Sonic who was turned into stone and defeats Scratch, Grounder, and Dr. Robotnik and turns Sonic back to normal.
    • In "Submerged Sonic", he and Sonic saved Surff from Dr. Robotnik and Tails launches the exploding pearls at Robotnik, defeating him and saving his kingdom.
    • In "The Last Resort", he saves Sonic from falling into a volcano by attaching his rope to a plane.
    • In "Tails Prevails", he creates Sonic a hoverbike for his birthday and tells Professor Von Schlemmer to jump, saving themselves from being killed on the Robotnik Nabber.
    • In "Hedgehog of the "Hound" Table", he defeats Scratch and Grounder when he uses the emerald and becomes strong.
    • In "Robotnik's Pyramid Scheme", he saves Sonic from being erased from existence by making Masonic and Penelope meet each other.
    • in "Tails' Tale", he saves Captain William Le Duck from crashing in his plane and saves Sonic from being captured by King Kommamachs.
  • He often feels remorse when he realizes he caused a mistake.
  • Although he did eat everything in sight in "Too Tall Tails", he was only affected by Robotnik's Gizmo Gas and couldn't control himself.
  • In the "Sonic Says" segments, he heeds Sonic's advice on how to handle things.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • While he is much nicer than Sonic and isn't that sadistic like him, he still had some mischievous and sadistic moments himself like for example in "Tails in Charge" when he set up a booby trap for Scratch and Grounder and when they were seemingly defeated, he still caused them more pain when they simply said they wouldn't give up by dropping more sandbags on the seesaw they were on and making them fall and land on a conveyer belt, taking great joy in doing it, and later trapped the trio, along with Robotnik in quick drying cement and he and Sonic left them there to stay stuck. While he was truly trying to stop them, it was still too sadistic to overdo it, making it too severe for NPG.
    • Also like Sonic, he tends to insult Scratch and Grounder by calling them "dumbots" or "blockheads" and once called Robotnik a "slow, stinky, old watermelon".
  • While he is a nice kid most of the time, he can be a bit sarcastic, jerkish, and arrogant in some episodes such as insulting others or being slightly annoyed by others' behavior.
  • While he is cautious, he can be reckless and stubborn as he sometimes rushes into danger in an attempt to prove himself or ignores Sonic's warnings which leads to him being captured, though he does learn from his mistakes, making it a minor prevention.
  • He has moments of being jealous whenever Sonic isn't interested in him.
