His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- In comparison to Tulio, Miguel is more kind and optimistic, lacking much of Tulio's rudeness. He also encourages Tulio to act more heroic when he notices injustice.
- He jumped out of his boat to save Altivo from drowning.
- He comforted Tulio when it seemed like they were going to die of thirst, telling him that he made his life rich.
- He and Tulio stopped Tzekel-Kan from sacrificing a man in their honor.
- He starts to open up to the people of El Dorado and convinced them to stop obeying to Tzekel-Kan.
- He tells Tzekel-Kan to leave El Dorado, removing him from his title as high priest, while stopping him from sacrificing Chief Tannabok's warriors.
- He and Tulio save Chel from Tzekel-Kan's possessed jaguar.
- He and Tulio trick Tzekel-Kan into thinking he and Miguel were having a fight before trying to knock him down, which causes Tzekel-Kan's jaguar getting destroy and Tzekel-Kan being taken out of El Dorado through getting sucked through underwater and thrown into a river.
- Despite being initially jealous of Chel due to his relationship with Tulio, Miguel still said his goodbyes to her when it seemed he and Tulio were going to part ways.
- Even though Tulio had almost broken their friendship, Miguel still told him to have good luck when they get to Spain with the gold, and was the one to try to bend their bond together after they leave El Dorado.
- He opens the sail of Tulio's boat when they were leaving El Dorado, saving him and Chel, while also making them able to destroy the gates to the city, saving thousands of lives.
- He tries to comfort Tulio when he starts crying over them losing their gold.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He and Tulio are con artists who trick people off their money in dice games by using loaded dice, which they feel no remorse for even as they become more heroic.
- Both him and Tulio initially tried to trick the people of El Dorado so they could get away with their gold and become rich, although unlike Tulio, Miguel began to care for the people of El Dorado and stopped being focused on getting the gold.
- During their time faking being gods, he and Tulio took joy in making people kneel for them and making tribute to them.
