Marvin Wilfred, better known as Mario, is one of the three main protagonists of the SuperMarioLogan series (alongside Bowser Junior and Jeffy). He is a former adventurer, plumber and currently the husband of Rosalina, the adoptive father of Jeffy and Tony the Tiger, and the eldest brother of Luigi and Mama Luigi. He is one of the main characters of the SML series.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He saved Peach many times from Bowser in the earliest eras of SML.
- He killed Bowser after he killed Luigi, by summoning Mama Luigi to help him to do so.
- He mourned Mama Luigi's death when he sacrificed himself to save Mario's life.
- He contributes to taking good care of Jeffy and Rosalina themselves.
- He is a caring father and a upstanding individual for his family despite all of the crap they put him through.
- He apologized to Shrek after kicking him out of the house.
- He bailed Rosalina out of jail despite the latter truly not deserving it.
- He prevented Rosalina’s parents from destroying Earth if they didn’t get a turkey for Thanksgiving, and even though turkeys were made illegal and he knocked out the Brooklyn T Guy before he could shoot up the turkey, he only did all of this for the sake of saving Earth.
- He saved Rosalina from Froger.
- He mourned Woody when he was thought to have died.
- He gives Jeffy a birthday party and puts up with his shenanigans, every single year. Even when Jeffy annoys Mario to make said event possible.
- He also cares enough for Black Yoshi/duggie despite the latter free-loading off of him.
- Despite how obnoxious and unruly Jeffy is, Mario states and claims Jeffy to be the best son ever. Where he went from getting frustrated by his antics, to showcasing the fact he cares for him in the inside.
- He says that he cares for Jeffy despite everything he put him through.
- He tries saving Jeffy with Brooklyn Guy's evil brother, Does Bad Things Guy.
- When Jeffy was thought to have died, he cried over his death and comforts Rose who was sobbing, and when Jeffy was thankfully alive, he said he loves him so much and tells him how he can live at the house for as long as he wants because he can’t imagine life without him because he’s gotten so used to his son that he just wants him and that he said he loves him so much. Something that Jeffy's extremely grateful for, Mario even telling him he loves him too.
- He created Buttercup and Bubbles with Jeffy and When he found out Mojo Jojo killed them he became horrified and comforted Jeffy
- His most heroic moment is when he encouraged Woody to save the world from the meteor, being partially responsible for saving billions of people.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He can be extremely rude, egotistic and jerkish at times, which often goes too far.
- He can cave into greed, jealousy and wrath many times, like the "Rich Mario" episode for example, where Mario makes money off of Goodman's golden bricks he was hiding from the FBI.
- He can be lethal towards Jeffy at times, despite being a responsible parent.
- He has had once too many moments of being rather incompetent. Especially if it's because of his lack of intelligence at times, or because of being vulnerable to the mean-spirited nature around him that treats Mario like a punching bag.
- Despite being played for sympathy all the time, to the point diehard SML fans begin rooting for Mario, he can be a bad father to Jeffy at times. As he used to revel in getting rid of Jeffy, even if it meant offing Jeffy or him getting lost.

- He along with Mario from SMG4, are the only versions of Mario to be IA.
