Lucas "Luke" Hobbs is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Letty Ortiz) of the Fast & Furious franchise, who first appeared in Fast Five.
He is a highly skilled bounty hunter for the Diplomatic Security Service, and the lead federal agent who initially attempted to capture Dominic Toretto and his team, before becoming a major ally later on in future installments.
He is portrayed by Dwayne Johnson, who also played Maui in Moana and Black Adam in Black Adam.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
Fast Five[]
- He tried to stop Dominic Toretto and gave him to justice after his team knocked down a whole bus.
- He sent Dom free when he was caught in an ambush, what saved his men lives.
- He helped the team to steal vault from Hernan Reyes and finally shot him as revenge his dying men. Also free them from capture.
Fast & Furious 6[]
- He gave Dom information about his beloved - Letty, what makes them come together.
- He defended Dom from shooters of Owen Shaw.
- He helped Brian O'Conner to reach his wife Mia, after she was trapped on a plane and also beats the thugs who guarded her.
- He helped Letty to kill Riley by throw for her a spear gun.
Furious 7[]
- He sacrificed himself by throwing himself before Elena (that fell on him), what caused him to get hurt.
- He shot on the helicopter of Mose Jakande and kill him, what finished Jakande's terror on streets.
The Fate of the Furious[]
- He cooperated with him enemy - Deckard Shaw, to bring down Cipher and Connor Rhodes and stop them to get a nuclear submarine.
- He also helped the team defending Dom from the submarine explosion.
Hobbs & Shaw[]
- He cooperated with Deckard Shaw again against Brixton Lore and hold bravely against Lore's tortures.
- He defeated Brixton Lore beside Shaw and for that flew to Samoa and asked his family to forgive him for his past.
Fast X[]
- He returned to hunting criminals when Dante Reyes called him for revenge.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- His initial devotion as an agent to the Diplomatic Security Service has put him in some morally grey moments, as he never questions the orders he's received or cares if the information on a criminal is not completely factual.
- He is very proud and arrogant, mostly against enemies like the Shaw brothers.
- Sometimes acts in aggressive manner and has a temper.
- He has plenty of jerkish moments to those around him with Dominic, Roman Pierce, and Deckard Shaw being his biggest targets for his insults.
- Even though he strongly believes in justice, he's not above breaking/bending the laws in his favor to fulfill his goals.
- He informed on his father and had him arrested, which is what made his family angry about him.
- He escaped from prison and tried to kill Deckard, injuring many guards in the process, before Mr. Nobody, came to them. Although trying to kill Deckard was justified, considering his feud with Dom, he injured some guards in rather brutal fashion.
- He's very deadly even when he kills his enemies and sometimes even risks some of his men and women's lives.
