Ludociel is an supporting character in the The Seven Deadly Sins series.

His Good Ranking[]

In General[]

  • Despite having to compete with the Seven Deadly Sins and the series high admirable standards, Ludociel stands out for his role in the Holy War, holding off the Original Demon long enough long enough for reinforcements to arrive and his supporting role in defeating Zeldris and the Demon King.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

  • He trained his younger Mael who would do admirable acts himself.
  • He protected the Goddess Clan and worked with Stigma to fight against the Demon Clan.
  • He would play an major in New Holy War dealing with the Demon Army and later in a strike force against Demon Clean leaders where he would have a major role in taking down Zeldris.
  • Though didn't intend on doing it at first, he did accept Hendriskon's plea for helping the Sins out where he would hold off the Original Demon from attacking Merlin long enough for reinforcements to arrive to help out.
  • He would play an supporting role in driving the Demon King out of Meliodas' body at the cost of his own life.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • While he did redeem himself and felt remorse for his actions, his crimes are too severe to brush off as they're enough to qualify him as Inconsistently Heinous and unlike Zeldris didn't do enough to make up to nullify his crimes of massacring Demon Civilians or destroying a village for one Baby Demon, even if one assume he did it under the Supreme Deity's orders, he still showed sadism in doing some of those acts meaning showed pleasure in following them to a degree. However he still admirable and stand out enough to be Inconsistently Admirable however. He also knew possessing Margaret Liones for too long will do harm and eventually kill her as Sariel stated it will happen when an Goddess possessing an human will have side effects unless they're already dead and using her body as an host placed her in danger though is an minor prevention since she did WILLINGLY let him posses her and knew the risks.
  • He got negative personality traits:
    • He shown to have sadism towards demons despite him seeming them vile prior to redemption showing he can be sadistic.
    • He has some prideful and arrogant moments.
    • While he did shed his xenophobia, he still saw humans being useful and not shown to shed this one yet.
    • He is VERY lethal due to the aforementioned heinous acts and will resort to immoral acts to achieve his goals.
    • Since he was assigned by the Supreme Deity and had unwillingly accepted Henrickson's pleas at first before helping out, he is an Hero by Proxy.

Trivia[]

  • While he may be Inconsistently Admirable since the word of god confirm he isn't permanently dead and will revive eventually, and if he returns in Four Knights of the Apocalypse and do enough heroic acts it may nullify his heinous acts. It may be possible his IA status may be challenged too if the admirable standards get raised in the sequel.
  • He and his brother Mael are one few-brother IA duos.
