Alexander Joseph "Lex" Luthor is one of the two main antagonists (alongside the Joker) of the DC Animated Universe.
He is a corrupt self-serving businessman who will do anything to get what he wants. He is also the arch-nemesis of Superman.
He was voiced by Clancy Brown.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- Discovered Eddie Lytener was responsible for the attempts on Lois Lane's life and told Clark Kent, allowing him to save her as Superman.
- Helped the League defeat their counterparts the Justice Lords and stopped them from imposing their will on the world.
- Talked Amazo out of destroying the world.
- When Batman ran out of weapons while fighting the Parademons, he offered one of his extra pistols to him for protection.
- Saved Superman from Darkseid and defeated the latter by having them both absorbed into the Source Wall, saving everyone on the planet from him (and even the universe, since Darkseid planned to move beyond Earth).
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He has done many heinous acts such as trying to kill Superman many times, nearly destroying the universe alongside Brainiac and sacrificing Tala despite pleas for mercy.
- His admirable deeds were either done out of self-interest or revenge.
