Lester Crest is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Lamar Davis) of Grand Theft Auto V and the deuteragonist of Grand Theft Auto Online. He is an old ally of Michael De Santa and is a member of their heist crew.
He was voiced by Jay Klaitz.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- He gave Franklin some contracts to kill corrupt businessmen so he can help people that suffer because of them.
- When Michael got kidnapped by Wei Cheng and his Triads, Lester gave Franklin Michael's cell phone location so he can rescue Michael.
- When Lamar Davis got set up by Stretch and the Ballas and kidnapped, Lester gave Franklin Lamar's location and sent Michael and Trevor to help Franklin rescue Lamar.
- In the true ending (C), he helped Franklin, Michael and Trevor get the FIB, IAA and Merryweather off their backs and gave them the locations of Steve Haines, Wei Cheng, Stretch & Devin Weston so that the trio won't have any loose ends coming after them in the future.
- In Grand Theft Auto Online, he helps the GTA Online Protagonist defeat Avon Hertz and Cliffford to save the world, which is enough to pass the fairly low admirable standards of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is an on & off character who does lots of villainous things, such as robbing banks, assisting the three protagonists in their crimes and killing several people.
- He can be quite lethal as shown in the UD Loud approach heist where he kills Merryweather with Rockets and shows delight in it.
- He can be perverted as Trevor makes comments about Lester breaking into people's webcams and he can be seen observing two strippers in the changing room.
- He is an anti-hero as part of the reason why he saved the world from Hertz is so he can be paid, which is too corrupting for NPG.
- He is quite jerkish and filled with insulting quips to his allies, with Trevor being his biggest target for such insults.
- He can be very greedy such as funding various fronts to launder his wealth and robbing the Diamond Casino multiple times just to finance his stock market escapades.
