Everything I learned about people, I learned from Thomas.
~ Lemon explaining how he is capable of reading people.

Lemon is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Tangerine) of the 2022 action/comedy movie Bullet Train, based on the Kōtarō Isaka's 2010 dark comedic thriller novel Maria Beetle.

He is, alongside Tangerine, part of the famoys assassin duo called "The Twins". By the events of the film, Lemon and Tangerine were hired by the White Death to escort his son to the bullet train.

He was portrayed by Brian Tyree Henry.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

  • He and Tangerine safely escorted the White Death's son to the bullet train.
  • After finding out the White Death's son was poisoned by The Hornet, Lemon tried to stall for time by puppeteering the son's body to convince the White Death's goons that he's still alive, thus saving himself and Tangerine from any trouble.
  • He tried to shoot the Prince after finding out about her involvement with the White Death, only to pass out after being drugged by Ladybug.
  • Although he initially believed Ladybug killed Tangerine and attacked him, he eventually let go of his vendetta and worked with him, The Elder and Yuichi Kimura to survive the White Death's attack.
  • He saved Ladybug from a goon by tackling the goon off the bullet train, nearly sacrificing himself (although he survived the fall).
  • He ran over the Prince with a tangerine truck, both avenging his brother's death and saving Ladybug, Yuichi and The Elder whom the Prince threatened to kill with a grenade launcher.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He's too lethal to even be NPG since he, along with his brother Tangerine, is an assassin with many murder counts. He also never showed any remorse for his past crimes, including:
    • Shooting Ladybug twice and claiming to have no recollection of it when they met again on the bullet train.
    • Killing the White Death's Guireras in Bolivia with Tangerine which forced the White Death to go after them, preventing him from saving his wife and thus making Lemon (and Tangerine) partly responsible for the film's events.
    • Shooting Yuichi in the stomach after thinking he kidnapped the Prince, although he survived.
  • He's very jerkish and constantly argues with many people including Tangerine, Ladybug, and Yuichi.
