Kurama, also known as the Nine-Tailed Fox, is a major character in the Naruto franchise. He is one of the nine Tailed Beasts created by Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki and possesses the main character, Naruto Uzumaki. While at first hating humans due to being treated as a weapon for centuries, he eventually develops a friendship with Naruto and redeems himself.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- Though he doesn't show it, he seemingly genuinely cares for his siblings.
- His hatred of humans is somewhat justifiable since they have used him as a weapon in the past, particular examples being Madara and Obito Uchiha.
- Develops a friendship with Naruto and voluntarily stays with him after getting the option to leave his body.
- Teams up with Naruto to save the world from threats such as Obito Uchiha, Madara Uchiha, Kaguya Otsutsuki, Toneri Otsutsuki, Momoshiki Otsutsuki and many others.
- Bonded with Kawaki over their shared relationship with Naruto.
- Seemingly sacrifices his life to give Naruto the power to defeat Isshiki Ōtsutsuki.
- Revived himself into Himawari Uzumaki as the next Jinchuriki.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He committed numerous villainous deeds that he never apologized for. Even when he attacked the Leaf Village, while he was brainwashed into doing it, he never showed remorse for it. Furthermore, once he was free from his brainwashing, he continued to attack the village out of sheer hatred.
- Even after his redemption, he is still arrogant and cynical, believing he is superior to all other life forms and also his other siblings as well. This causes him to frequently quarrel with the One-Tails (who he always called him a damned/dumb tanuki).
- While it's not as bad as it used to be, he is still very violent and lethal against his enemies.
