Knuckles the Echidna is one of the three tritagonists (alongside Amy and Sticks) of the Sonic Boom series. He is an anthropomorphic echidna hailing from Angel Island, the last of his kind and a member of Team Sonic.
He was voiced by Travis Willingham in English and Nobutoshi Canna in Japanese.

- In "The Evil Dr. Orbot", when Lady Walrus cries that her baby is in trouble yet again, Sonic says that he and his team will get to it later, resulting in Knuckles not going to rescue the baby. However, since it's unknown if the baby was in serious danger and the team was distracted by a fight with Orbot, it's hard to say if it's corrupting.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is very arrogant and egocentric, often craving for attention and making up stories where he is portrayed as infinitely better than Sonic.
- He also has a tendency to act like a jerk, most notably laughing over Sonic's injuries caused by Tails' experiments.
- His stupidity can make him too incompetent at times, such as the time he allowed time to continue to loop just because he didn't want to go to the dentist.
- He was completely fine with putting Chumley in the blender when he wouldn’t stop crying, even though he knew it would have killed the baby, only being stopped by Sonic at the last minute. While it was a short gag, it’s way too corrupting for a Near Pure Good hero, and is even enough for him to be Inconsistently Heinous due to his low resource count.
- When he got adopted by Charlie and Belinda, they convinced him to become a villain like them, although Knuckles quickly redeemed himself after realizing they were using him. Yet he never felt remorse
