King Leonard Mudbeard is the main antagonist of the 2016 CGI film The Angry Birds Movie and the tritagonist of its sequel The Angry Birds Movie 2. He is a greedy tyrant who kidnapped the birds' eggs in the first movie, but he redeems himself in the sequel to save his and Bird Island from Zeta.
He was voiced by Bill Hader.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- Even as a villain, Leonard still shows to care for his subjects, as shown that he planned to share the eggs they stole from the birds with them and being angered when the birds began wrecking havoc and tried to put a stop to it. This is even further proven in the sequel as he was willing to save his island from Zeta.
- He redeems himself to defeat Zeta and save Piggy Island asking Red for help despite Red initially being physically abusive to him.
- He also was willing to protect Bird Island from Zeta.
- Played a part in Zeta's redemption.
- He helps toss a gadget to act as the ramp so Silver and Red can try to destroy the lava ball launcher. However, the plan fails.
- Stands out in the admirable standard by being the most admirable protector of his species.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Despite being redeemed, he wasn't shown to have any remorse for kidnapping a lot of infants that were still in development stages as bird eggs so he can eat them as breakfast.

- Leonard is the only Angry Birds Movie character, the only overall Angry Birds character, the only Sony Animation hero and the only Rovio character to be both Inconsistently Admirable and Inconsistently Heinous.
- Although he is IA right now, this is subject to change in the third movie as he seems to be moving on from his villainous traits.
- He is one of three Angry Birds characters to be Inconsistently Admirable alongside Mighty Eagle and Red from Bert Porter. He and Mighty Eagle are the only to come from a canon work.
- He is also similar to Constantine from Robotboy, as both of them are Admirable and Heinous, They turn heroic in a similar way, Constantine helps himself, Tommy, Robotboy, and Robotgirl get out of the wall trap that he defended which was caused by Dr. Kamikazi, despite Constantine being both heroic and villainous just like Leonard is in The Angry Birds Movie 2, where he saves his island and Bird Island from Zeta.
- His game incarnation doesn't count as he is the main antagonist in the games.
