Juzo Sakakura (逆蔵 十三 Sakakura Jūzō) is a character featured in Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak Academy, as well as a participant in the Final Killing Game.

Juzo is a member of Future Fondation and the leader of the 6th Division. He is the executive in control of the Special Crime Investigation Unit featured in Danganronpa Gaiden: Killer Killer.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

  • He cares about his classmates and is willing to do anything to protect them. The three of them also investigated the corruption of Hope’s Peak Academy.
  • Although he beat up Hajime, it was only to protect him from getting killed by the school committee if he found out the truth.
  • He gave Chisa an ID card to help her investigate the Izuru Kamukura Project, even at the risk of losing his job.
  • During the Parade, he tried to stop the Reserve Course students from getting into the school with some other security guards.
  • He tried to apprehend Junko for causing the deaths of some trustees and the killing game of Hope’s Peak Student Council.
  • He felt remorse for lying to Munakata that Junko was innocent, and vowed to defeat her himself.
  • During the Tragedy, he aided the Future Foundation in taking down the Remnants of Despair.
  • He saved Makoto from committing suicide from watching the Despair video. He also apologized for the way he treated him, admitting he hated him because he was jealous that he was the one to defeat Junko.
  • He put an end to the Final Killing Game by turning off the underwater facility's power, giving his life in the process.
    • The survivors would also help Class 77-A stop Ryota from brainwashing the world with his Hope video, meaning he indirectly played a role in saving the world from a fate worse than death.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He’s a massive jerk with some questionable actions that ultimately did a lot more harm than good. Him beating up Hajime and breaking his self-esteem lead to him joining the Izuru Kamukura Project and becoming the titular nihilist. Him also not telling the truth about Junko would also allow her to continue with her plans.
  • He has a very bad temper, always being quick to violence as a first resort and when provoked, and even has a lethal side to him. After Hajime landed a hit on him, he threatened to put him in the hospital and would have gone through with it if Chisa didn’t stop him. This is more shown in the Future arc, where he beat up Makoto even when he was handcuffed and couldn’t defend himself, and even tried to kill his friends. He even indirectly caused the death of Daisaku Bandai when he saw him use violence against Ryota, with little remorse.
