The tentatively-named Josuke Higashikata is the main protagonist of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: JoJolion. An alternate counterpart of the original character of the same name, Josuke is a young man afflicted by retrograde amnesia and lacking any memories prior to being discovered by Yasuho Hirose near the Wall Eyes in Morioh Town. In reality, Josuke is the fusion of both Josefumi Kujo and Yoshikage Kira.
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
JoJolion[]
- Defeats Ojiro Sasame and spares his life after he realized Ojiro had no intention of actually attacking him.
- He agrees to help Joshu after he was being constantly picked up by the community of Shakedown Road, a part of Morioh known for rampant scams and frauds and managed to defeat them.
- Defeats a Rock Human known as Yotsuyu Yagiyama who attacked the Higashikata mansion, while also protecting Norisuke in the process.
- He, alongside Karera, defeats both of the A.Phex Twins, a duo of Rock Human smugglers that attack them both, while also protecting Karera from being set ablaze by both.
- Assists Haato Higashikata in defeating Tamaki Damo.
- During Dolomite's attack, he refuses to harm a baby affected by his stand Blue Hawaii that causes anyone infected to be aggressive and chase its determined target like a predator, choosing to be captured instead.
- After discovering Holly Joestar-Kira is his mom, and that she's dying from the Rock Disease, he decides to do anything to save her life, despite not having any memory regarding her.
- He saves Yasuho from falling from Rai's chairlift after a Rock Human known as Urban Guerilla starts attacking them.
- Alongside Rai, he eventually defeats both Urban Guerilla and his pet Doremifasolati Do.
- Helps Yasuho to defeat Wu Tomoki, while also saving Mitsuba in the process.
- Defeats a Rock Insect sent by Tooru known as Obladi Oblada.
- Uses his ability Go Beyond to wound Tooru and prevent Yasuho from being killed by his Calamity Flow.
- Ultimately destroys Wonder of U, thus also destroying the Calamity Flow forever.
- Due to this version of Josuke existing in a separate continuity with lower admirable standards, he is able to stand out through his actions.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Unlike his original counterpart, he is ultimately WAY too lethal to qualify as Near Pure Good, as with the exception of Ojiro he actually killed every single villain he defeated, while also giving them gruesome deaths in the process like:
- Drowning both Yotsuyu and Obladi Oblada.
- Killing the A.Phex Twins with their own poison and later setting them ablaze.
- Exploding Doremifasolati Do and burning Urban Guerilla alive in the process.
- Sealing Wu Tomoki's fragments inside his bubbles mixed with medical cement.
- Crushing Tamaki Damo's skull in cold blood with a punch from his stand Soft & Wet while Tamaki was begging him for mercy.
- He sacrifices an innocent reporter to the Wonder of U in order to get closer to Tooru, which is an act that is far too heinous for Near Pure Good.
- He is a pervert which is shown when he sees Yasuho and had an erection during a hug and in Yasuho's vagina. This also extends to his earlier interactions with Yasuho where he would pry at her breast size offhandedly.
