Johnny Test is the titular main protagonist of the franchise of the same name. He is voiced by James Arnold Taylor.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- Despite how much mischief he causes, Johnny rarely hesitates to correct his mistakes.
- Even though he tends to mess with his sisters' inventions, he does care about them deep down.
- He can sometimes show empathy towards his enemies, particularly Bling-Bling Boy, to the point of being acquainted with them.
- Despite being mischievous and manipulative, he's rarely been the voice of reason when things go too far.
- Even though selfish at times, he also has a good heart, such as promoting The Beekeeper's business and helping Brain Freezer overcome his madness.
- Johnny has saved the world countless times:
- He has saved Gil from the government after the latter transformed into a violent ape, which results in him getting kidnapped.
- Johnny has saved the town of Porkbelly from Blast Ketchup's attempt to take over the world using dangerous Tinymons.
- Developed the moniker of Johnny X and gained superpowers (via his sisters) to save the city whenever it's in trouble.
- Outsmarted Dark Vegan multiple times to save the world from his wrath. Dark Vegan has mostly given up his goals for world domination when he realizes he can't beat Johnny outright and develops a love for toast instead.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- Johnny is mostly an anti-hero as he usually helps others for his own personal interests, such as helping his sisters with their inventions in exchange for using them to take shortcuts for things he is too lazy to put in effort for. This doesn't stop at his sisters, as he would try to bribe anyone to get what he wants.
- In most episodes, it's shown that Johnny is directly or indirectly responsible for all the invasions/destruction of Porkbelly, making the military monitor his family regularly.
- He can also be an manipulative jerk at times, such as guilt tripping Dukey by using his adoption story against him or including food whenever the former is not interested in Johnny's ideas.
- He's an notorious cheater, as he uses his sisters' inventions to try to win contests or bragging rights, only for it to backfire on almost all occasions.
- He is way too mischievous and rebellious to be NPG. He lacks respect for authority very much and rarely takes instructions from others seriously.
- He can be quite egotistical, as he usually faces problems without an guaranteed solution and underestimating the threats he faces.
- He has little to no regrets of his own actions and only apologizes/fixes the problem when he's forced to.
- He rarely learns his lesson when things go awry, such as him abusing the Turbo Time Teahouse for his own benefit multiple times.
- He can be quite wrathful when he doesn't get his way or somebody crosses him.
