QUIET!
~ Johnny's most famous quote.
Look… I wasn't taught the difference between mercy and honor and I paid the price for it. If I'm extra hard on you, it's only because you have the potential to be better than I ever was. You want that, don't you?
~ Johnny to Miguel Diaz.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • While having shed all of his villainous traits from the first movie, Johnny does many questionable acts throught Cobra Kai: getting drunk and beating up people while being drunk, being very reckless and far too hot-headed and impulsive, often endangering his students and the people around him, and being far too vindictive through the series towards Daniel, even though Daniel had initially squashed the beef.
  • He is too vengeful, as he was ready to hit kids who broke his car, attacked Daniel and later John Kreese and Silver, and pushed pepper at his opponent's eyes.
  • Some of his teaching methods can be very illegal and dangerous, such as teaching boys to jump high, hitting them hard and putting them to practice in a concrete truck.
  • Johnny also breaks the law and performs forbidden actions many times, even during the training of his students, among other things. He also entered to a closed public pool to teach Miguel how to kick, stole a valuable object from his stepfather, and more.
  • He has a Kick the Dog moment where he destroys a random person’s scooter (although the scene was played for laughs).
