Commander James Bond, also known as his codename 007, is the titular main protagonist of Eon Productions' original film series of the same name based on Ian Fleming's novel series of the same name.

Bond is a British Senior Operational Officer of the Double O (00) branch, which is a black operations unit working under the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6). He was the seventh agent to earn a license to kill, thus getting himself the codename 007. He is an outstanding special agent who was ready to work alone and sacrifice himself to complete his missions no matter what.

His Good Ranking[]

What Makes Him Admirable?[]

All Portrayals[]

  • He voluntarily faked his age and joined the Navy at the age of 17.
  • He has worked for MI6 and stopped a lot of large scale criminals and power hungry maniacs from executing their plans which could harm the innocent civilians' lives like his day job, with many of the villains being Pure Evil.
  • His actions had saved the world countless times, even if it meant to bend the law or to use extreme methods, they still always bring net positive results. Therefore, the entire MI6 mainly depended on him and always gave him the most difficult missions there were.
  • He was generally a friendly and elegant man who was easy to get along with people, especially women. Many of his co-workers had formed strong friendships and loyalties towards him, especially Q, Miss Moneypenny or Felix Leiter.
  • He sets the admirable standard to the verse, as he usually worked alone with few occasional partners.

Exclusive to the Connery-Moore Era[]

  • He solved the missing case of Strangeways and defeated Dr. Julius No, who was responsible for his murder, as well as was behind the US Nuclear launch attack attempt.
  • He successfully obtained the Lektor Decoder device and infiltrated the Russian spy operations, by using the spy Tatiana Romanova. He then defeated several SPECTRE members and assassins.
  • He stopped Auric Goldfinger from murdering women, he also prevented him from commencing operation Grand Slam in Fort Knox to launch nuclear bombs and start World War III, ultimately stopped destructive atomic bombs from detonating.
  • He defeated Emilio Largo and prevented him from launching nukes.
  • He faked his own death to distract SPECTRE, and then travelled from Japan to stop Ernst Stavro Blofeld from executing his evil plans which could have harmed millions.
  • He infiltrated the mafia operations and stopped Blofeld from executing his plan of developing a biological agent to induce sterility in plants and animals and potentially wipe out entire species.
  • He destroyed Blofeld's diamond rig operations and organizations, as well as freeing many captives from him.
  • He went to San Monique to defeat Dr. Kananga and his gangsters, as well as to destroy his drug crops and his plan to distribute his drugs.
  • He successfully retrieved the agitator and neutralized Scaramanga, stopping him from assassinating more people.
  • He helped Anya Amasova to stop Karl Stromberg from stealing more submarines, which could have destroyed two big cities.
  • He went to Brazil to defeat Hugo Drax and to foil his plan of destroying humanity using space.
  • He defeated Milos Columbo and Emile Leopold Locque and prevented them from sinking more boats.
  • He investigated the murder of 009 and deactivated the nuclear warhead.
  • He investigated the shady operations of Max Zorin and prevented him from monopolising the world market in microchips.

Exclusive to the Dalton Era[]

  • He disobeyed the order to disarm a female cellist named Kara Milovy, who was trying to prevent General Koskov's from escaping. He then approached her and persuaded her to accompany him in Vienna.
  • After discovering Koskov's plan, he planned to stop Koskov and Brad Whitaker's arms dealing plan, he first planted a bomb aboard the cargo plane carrying the opium.
  • He protected Kara and then pursued both Whitaker and Koskov, ultimately defeated them successfully, ending their evil plans.
  • Before Felix Leiter's wedding, he captured a notorious drug lord Franz Sanchez.
  • After Sanchez had escaped and killed Leiter's wife, as well as severely damaging the latter. He wowed to take revenge against him and defeat Sanchez once and for all.
  • He resigned from MI6 and accepted to have his license to kill revoked in order to hunt down Sanchez at all cost.
  • He foiled Sanchez's drug shipment cargo, ultimately defeated and killed Sanchez, stopping his notorious drug distribution, as well as avenge for his friend Felix Leiter.

Exclusive to the Brosnan Era[]

  • He successfully destroyed the Arkhangelsk chemical weapons facility and escaped on time.
  • He defeated and stopped Xenia Onatopp, a dangerous woman who seduced and brutally killed many men.
  • He successfully destroyed a dangerous satelite.
  • After knowing about Alec Trevelyan's betrayal, he pursued him and then battled him, leading to the latter's death.
  • He defeated Elliot Carver, who planned to orchestrate a war between the British and the Chinese using his own media network.
  • He destroyed Carver and his men's ships, ultimately preventing a full scale war.
  • He prevented Renard and Elektra King from monopolizing the world's oil market just for profit. He then killed both of them.
  • He investigated the North Korean colonel Tan Sun Moon, who was illegally trading African conflict diamonds for weaponry.
  • After Moon faked his death and became Gustav Graves, he killed him and stopped his plan from invading South Korea and possibly other nations.

What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]

  • He is far too lethal to even be NPG, as he usually kills his enemies no matter what, even if they gave him information he needed. Although there were many enemies whom he could have easily capture without them causing more harm, he still killed them, even some of them deserved it, such as Franz Sanchez.
  • He had many times bent the law and orders to for his missions and revenge, which could have endangered his allies.
  • He is ultimately a womanizer, who usually seduces women for his missions' sake. Aside from his late wife Tracy, he mostly treated other women as assisstants for him to finish his missions. After succeeding his missions, he always abandoned them quickly. This is a severe prevention which ultimately prevents him from being NPG or PG.
