Ser Jaime Lannister, also known as the Kingslayer, is one of the main characters in the A Song of Ice and Fire book series and its TV adaptation Game of Thrones. when he started as a major villain he became during the series to hero with standards against other and bigger villains.
He was portrayed by Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

What Makes Him Admirable?[]
- Ever since youth he was very brave man who cared for his family and to fought against their enemies.
- He protected the truth of the birth of Cersei's children with him in order to prevent Robert from killing them.
- Unlike Cersei and Tywin, he genuinely cares about Tyrion and doesn't blame him for his mother death. He even tried to arrange a marriage for Tyrion with a prostitute, although his father destroyed their marriage.
- Once King Aerys II Targaryen desired to destroy the city and kill his father, he slayed him to prevent either of those things from happening.
- Fought against Balon Greyjoy's rebellion.
- Tried to free his brother Tyrion after he was arrested for attempting to kill Bran Stark.
- Spared Ned Stark after one of his men interfered in their duel because it wouldn't be fair.
- Stopped Locke and his men from raping Brienne, which causes him to lose his right hand.
- Jumped into a bear pit to save Brienne, even going against the wishes of Roose Bolton and putting his life at risk to do so.
- Tried to save Joffrey when he was poisoned at his wedding.
- Goes against Cersei's wishes and sends Brienne to ensure Sansa Stark's safety.
- Has Tyrion's squire Podrick Payne accompany Brienne on her quest since he isn't safe after refusing to betray Tyrion.
- Offered to give up his role in the kingsgurd and take his place as Tywin's heir if Tyrion's life was spared.
- Broke Tyrion out of prison so he would not be unjustly executed for Joffrey's murder.
- Raced to Dorne to try to save his daughter Myrcella.
- Negotiated to keep Bronn alive after he struck a Dornish prince, even offering to receive his punishment instead.
- Comforted Cersei over Myrcella's death and tried to avenge the Sparrow who harmed her.
- Recruits an army to fight the sparrows to prevent the Walk of Atonement for Margaery.
- Gave Olenna Tyrell a painless poison to prevent Cersei from torturing her.
- He told Randyll Tarly not to whip the soldiers who were taking the cargo from High Garden to King's Landing, since they had served well against the Tyrells' soldiers.
- Tried to defend his men from Daenerys's dragon.
- He agreed to listen to Tyrion even though he swore to kill him for Tywin's murder.
- Went against Cersei to help Jon Snow and his allies fight against the White Walkers.
- He knighted Brienne, going against the norms of Westeros to name a woman a knight.
- Fought in the battle of Winterfell, killing several white walkers and saving Brienne's life multiple times.
- Attempted to avoid confrontation with the malicious Euron Greyjoy, and only killed him when he refused to back down.
- Rang the bells to try and stop the war of King's Landing from Daenerys's army.
- Tried to save Cersei from the Red Keep despite her wanting him dead.
What Makes Him Inconsistent?[]
- He is an anti-hero and an on-and-off villain until the very last season, as he spends most of his time being allied with the cruel Lannisters. His actions indirectly led to the War of the Five Kings thanks to crippling Bran Stark and also many evil doing.
- He is very lethal and wrathful to his enemies and acts reckless in his suspicions, demonstrated with Ned Stark's men, punching Black Walder Rivers's face by his gold hand, and even raped his sister out of rage.
- He sometimes is a hypocrite, being offended by Ned Stark when he didn't listen to his reasoning on killing the Mad King, while he tried to kill his son without him knowing.
- Outside his own family, he acts condescending towards other houses like House Stark due to his own heritage.
